Ways you know a person's political affiliation

Featured Replies

Board has been a little heavy lately. I figured it was time to lighten it up.

What is a way to tell someone's political affiliation without talking to them? Can be anything. Let's have some fun.

they display the american flag- in their yard, on their house, on their car, anywhere.

this answer has got to be one of he more depressing ones, as the actual american flag has now become a symbol for the party of hate.

Often, a MAGA man will walk around and if you look closely, you can see a teenage boy’s cum still on their chin.

As an expat Texan - if they ask me questions about Texas and problems with immigrants being so close to the border. It’s a thing.

Using a winter storm to get laughs about the silliness of “global warming”.

Calling bullshit “crap”.

You'd think that...but one of the more unhinged MAGA's I know also drives a Subaru Outback...

They fall very easily for disinformation and hoaxes. While at the same time rejecting obvious truths, like say the president's criminal history and January 6th.

I have a friend, through my wife, that is sort of apolitical/conservative. He's not a big fan of Trump, but lives in small town Oklahoma, so is buried in MAGA think.

The other day, we were texting about something and the bankruptcy/disappearance of places like Red Lobster and On The Border came up.

He said "a bunch of Walmarts in California are closing."

If they say things like "I dislike both sides equally" that means they vote republican 100% of the time.

being up to date on California as someone who doesn’t live there and “wouldn’t want to” is definitely a tell.

Interestingly here in NC, 1) being vocally angry at the yankees in the area and 2) being a yankee in the area (probably a pd/fd flavored yankee from Jersey or Staten Island or upstate ny) are both tells.

I had someone tell me one time that January 6th would have also happened if Biden lost. "That's just politics these days".

JFC I actually get this reference, and it’s sad.

In our neighborhood, you can pay to have the Boy Scouts put up flags in your yard for US holidays. Somehow, we have ended up on the list despite never signing up. I hate that I have to seriously consider asking if I can be taken off, because I don’t want to give off a certain impression to the rest of my neighbors.

Let's talk about fun.

I’m debating what to wear to a fundraiser next week. My close blood relative is running for judge as a R.

I'm thinking about wearing a Talarico for Senate shirt, a “Fuck Trump” hat, and just open carrying. I want to make it clear that the only reason I'm voting is because I honestly think this relative will be a good judge. He prosecutes some real scumbags - pedophiles, murderers. Of course Ill roll up in my pickup with the 82nd Airborne and 1000 club lifetime member stickers.

I don't want to piss off my family, but I want to make a point.

And Ill be the only person in attendance who can honestly report “when I talked to Kristi Noem last month…”

Good idea.

I think the open carry part with the Democrat gear is important. The place will be crawling with LEOs, DAs, and the defense bar.

I asked a conservative friend how the heck he could continue to support Trump given how much he embarrassed the US at Davos, and hurt international relations, and his answer was that Biden embarrassed us just as badly. Think about how delusional you have to be to believe that.

Just procured an “Abolish ICE” hat in MAGA red.

Am on my way currently to a semi-surprise Army retirement party for my son in College Station. Just received word that my cousin and her wife are en route. Damned I wish I had that hat with me.
