The federal government is in extensive partial shutdown with lots of large agencies unfunded. A  number of them have taken a new approach: ordering all employees regardless of status to come to work as normal. There’s been no new memo outlining a change to interpretation of the anti-deficiency act and this appears to be simply the executive pretending it didn’t happen in the hopes it gets resolved quickly. Lots of DOD were told this is a “soft shutdown” which does not exist.

Hey, man....."soft shutdowns" can happen to lotsa guys. It's not a big deal. Happens all the time, okay?

It kind of looks like Schumer and company surrendered before the fight even started but whatever weak sauce shut down they do to ask nicely for ICE to maybe get more training, despite agency veterans being responsible for the abuses, I wish them success. I like the idea that body cameras are going to do anything...like mother fucker we got video of them killing people from multiple angles and nothing fucking happened. What are body cameras going to do? Give MAGA more torture porn to jack off to?

The soft shutdown is they are voting everything Trump wants and saving the DHS stuff for last. At least that is my understanding.

All body cameras will do is give ICE better, more closely captured violence porn that they will jack off to back at HQ.

ICE is a secret police force. It must be destroyed.
