I'm putting together a trip. Want to see what kind of interest there is for something where we get a large retreat style place with 17-20 bedrooms, media rooms, entertainment spaces, big tables etc. In the smokey mountains with arranged transport from airport, to the stadium and back. All inclusive with private chef, bartenders, entertainment and get a big group buy of tickets.

Will be by room. There's 2 bunk style rooms that people can split up to 4-6 ways and the rest will be for singles or couples basically. This isn't a frat style party and this won't be like a dorm style place. Think 10 bedrooms with kings and en suites etc and 5 with double queens and 2 with bunks.

Tickets will try to be between the 40s on the Texas sideline side.

Transport will be a coach style thing where we can drink/pregame/postgame with no issues.

Price point should be around 1500 per room + tickets per person for a friday-sunday thing and all meals and booze etc included.

It looks like the visitors sideline is in front of sections A through F, with section A reserved for the visitors tickets. SeatGeek is showing prices for seats anywhere in the stadium beginning at $427. Tickets between the 40s on the visitors side start around $1000. Hopefully, Tennessee loses a couple of games (out of Furman, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State) before we play them, forcing the prices down.

If we did Knoxville I'd want to do Thursday to Sunday I'm not sure it'll be worth it though vs just flying in direct.

@immamac certainly can speak for himself, but I think he means $1,500 for the room, shuttle transport, booze and food. Game ticket cost would be extra as the cost of those is not known at this point.

FYI. Southwest just added Knoxville as a hub. Tyson-McGhee Airport is about 40 mins from the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area.

hint: the only AUS-TYS service is on G4 who has not released schedules past mid-august

current ops are 1 flight each way aus->tys and tys->aus on monday and friday and there is no fucking wai anyone should trust that operation who WILL randomly fuck you with no notice and no recourse

Obviously, I don't need airfare, but it's gonna be tricky at best to fly into Knoxville. There are some flights into Chattanooga and Asheville, NC both of which are closer than Nashville. The Asheville-Knoxville drive is extremely worthy and passes a very solid poker casino.
