Super Bowl Squares. Anyone?

Featured Replies

Anyone got one going on here? I’ve built one the last couple of years but would just as soon join someone else’s. Don’t care much about watching the game otherwise.

Let’s do $10 per square just to make sure we can sell them all. I’ll set it up in a few hours and post details.

Don't really care who wins and would like a reason to get excited. Any interest in a squares game at $10 per square--payout $250 a quarter (fourth quarter will be paid on final score if tied)?

I will set it all up via Venmo and will pay out as the game goes. Have done one for several years via Venmo and it always works fine. The only catch is we need to sell 100 squares before the game.

Reply here or PM me if interested.

If we don't sell all the squares, we will do a winner take all on the final score.

I would be down.

Should we put a notice on the main football board as well?

There will be 100 squares in a grid. 10 rows and 10 columns. I will randomly assign 0-9 to the columns and 0-9 to the rows. Then I will randomly assign all players to the boxes in grid. Players get one box (square) for each $10 paid. The rows will be one team; the columns the other. At the end of each quarter (the final score for the 4th), whoever has the square with the correct last digit of the score for each team wins $250.

I used a random number generator to do every aspect.

The score digits were randomly ordered for both teams.

The players were randomly ordered.

The squares 1-100 were randomly ordered.

Some people ended up with multiples squares in the same row or column. I didn't move anything. I entered exactly what it spit out.  Didn't seem fair to tinker with it.

I used whatever name paid in Venmo

Alright, you guys are straight degenerates--willing to bed on which bird flies off a wire first.

No time to sell a full board--so how about 10 tickets max sold, $20 each. Final digit in Drake Maye's total number of completions. But hurry.

Just the final digit. Need to keep this to 10 total possible outcomes. He gets 18 completions, then the 8 wins. The reason I shied away from total yards is that gets adjusted sometimes and I don't want anyone griping.

I bet we could sell a full board by mid Q1.

Let's skip my idea of a quickee board on Maye's passing. Immamac, if you launch another full grid of squares, I'll be in for a couple. I just don't have time to sit and deal with all the Venmo transactions this afternoon. I have some errands to run before the game.

Everyone is paid. Thanks for helping me get them all sold. Probably see you next year. Will be fun with the Cowboys involved.
