so, I'm looking for a lawn tractor...like Hank Hill, and I spot this ad. Looks like a great deal. Here in San Diego County, although about an hour from me.

Hmmm. That's a rich, thick lawn for San Diego. The only grass that green around here is at Torrey Pines.

John Deere 2305 with Loader and Mower. 100 hours. All fluids changed at 50 hours per JD specs. Text for additional details.

It's weird, but the same seller has the same tractor for sale in San Marcos TX

John Deere Mower and Loader Tractor - farm & garden - by...

John Deere mower and loader tractor in excellent condition. Well maintained machine with only 141 hours. Everything functions as it should with no known issues.

An extra 41 hours on the clock for the TX version. Of course I emailed say I want to buy. Maybe y'all can email Sara too? Dick pics, longcat, Derka rants, whatever you've got, send it.

Constant scam, happens both on CL & on FB MarketPlace.

& NONE of the "REPORT" options allow an opportunity to select "identical listing in multiple locations"

The MarketPlace ones always ask you to "email me @ ________ " vs. Continuing to connect direct via SMS. & it's always "I'm selling it for my [sister / uncle / dad] & they aren't on FB. Email them @ _________ ."

What about the trains and imitation crab? That’s at least legit right. Right?

Just gotta be careful with things on there. I remember getting an air conditioner when I lived in NYC. It was great and I used it for at least the last five years or so before I left to move here.

Also got one of my two dogs from Craigslist from NYC as well. Now the description of the dogs as being just Shih Tzu should’ve just said mixed. I wouldn’t have cared about that because clearly they were mixed. I just wanted another small dog for the Shih Tzu I already had so she’d have a friend to play with when I was at work.

So much stuff on there is a scam though. I can imagine the scams must be working still if the site is still be used so much by people doing that.

This kind of bullshit is exactly why I buy my lawn tractors from the back of a van at a grocery store from a guy who’s company just ordered too many.
