Zooey Deschanel in the shower is always a good pick.

Outstanding performance in a movie full of them, and helped me discover Skip James.

I am not big on singing in movies, but hearing this song always makes me laugh. I figured out how to do Cartman’s voice back in the late 90’s so sometimes I’ll sing this song for friends that know the show.

I suppose we’re talking spontaneous singing? Not full of musical song and dance dance pieces? If so Zooey Deschanel singing in the shower in Elf is a good one.

I think the best is You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feelin’ in Top Gun. Cruise probably practiced for 5 years for that scene. Great build up and delivery. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CFT0jGibz80

We went to see EPIC last night; it's the latest Elvis offering. Anyhoo, at some point Elvis was singing it to his audience. I leaned over to the wife and said, "Maverick and Goose did it better". Begrudgingly, she agreed.

I think the bass is taking away from the vocals.

First time I saw Back to the Future, I laughed my ass off at this scene.

No love for Wayne & Garth?

Scott Pilgrim

BBohemian Rhapsody in Waynes World is the winner.

Ok this one idoesn’t qualify but a great scene with an instrumental.

Hard to pick just one from so many great songs and amazing performances in this movie, but this one breaks me every time.

More for Donald O'connor's incredible physicality but I've always loved this scene
