Walking out of it tonight the first thought that came to mind was Hot Fuzz crossed with John Wick. This was a fun movie. Odenkirk has still got it. Seeing Lena Headey about as far removed character-wise from GoT was cool too.

Hope it’s still playing next weekend. Would like to take my son.

Honestly I didn't love it. There was a scene early on where I was pretty excited at the.. Chekhov's Gun implications I was seeing, but I just didn't think that the payoff was there and I'm not sure which thing the movie was trying to be. John Wick, Final Destination. I dunno, not terrible, just maybe about a C of a movie that I'll forget in a month.

It should be. Quick and to the point movie.

So I generally felt like I got the vibe of the movie. A much bloodier version of Hot Fuzz seems appropriate. Not as good as that classic, but I got the gist of what they were doing. My only criticism is they probably needed another 20 minutes or so in this movie. More with Lena Headey’s character and more with Henry Winkler’s mayor character. I feel like they left some stuff out that could’ve helped develop things more. I totally can see why you viewed this movie like you did though so thank you for explaining your view.

above average, pretty fun. reminded me of Violent Night 😆 i like Bob 👍

I didn’t even think of that, but that’s a good movie connection to make with this one. Bob just seems like he’s having fun in movies like this.

It was a quick hour and a half of damn good fun.
