It’s hard to compare them to F1 teams, but what Marc did last year after all of his injuries and messed up surgeries was incredible.

Bezecchi was crazy fast this weekend and in testing, but has been a little on the edge with the falls. I do rate him with a great chance this year, Ducati depending.

Ducati has started the year with their 2024 aero package instead of the 2025 one because it’s a bit easier to ride. So their aero is probably a bit behind others, though the 2024 package was WAY ahead of everyone else at the time, so it’s not bad by any means this year.

They can homologate one more aero package this season, so it’s likely that they will keep working on a 2026 one and introduce it at a later time.

Marc is still rehabilitating from the shoulder injury last year, so once he gets all his strength back and learns the riding style of the 2024 package (he used 2025 last year), I think he will be right up there again. I mean, he really should have won the sprint already (I am iffy on the penalty, but it’s because they haven’t called that a penalty for a while now. If they are consistent with that kind of thing going forward, we will see).

Yamaha is going to be so bad this year. I feel bad for Fabio (but he is going to Honda next year).

Jorge Martin is going to Yamaha next year to replace Fabio.

Pecco Bagnaia is going to Aprilia next year to replace Martin.

Pedro Acosta will be Marc’s teammate next year, replacing Pecco.

Alex Marquez is going to KTM to replace Pedro.

It’s weird that all these moves are pretty much done and dusted before the season had even started, so we don’t have a silly season!!!
