yeah i had a scheduling conflict last year but i believe i've been in this every other year its been held

Wulaw typically sets it up, but it seems like he's been not as present on this site lately. Looks like Huck is in so there are still two spots being held for Wulaw and Prepuce. If one of them is out, you have their spot.

I will be tied up all day tomorrow and possibly Tuesday and Wednesday as well, so I think I must regretfully decline this year. I hope that doesn't revoke my legacy status, as I would like to play again next year (assuming that the world doesn't end in the meantime...).

understandable. like i said, i had to miss out last year but definitely didn't want to forfeit my spot for good so you should be good next year (if we're all still kicking).

Thoughts on upping the buy-in? I like this a lot better than typical bracket pools. I'd be down to do like $50 - we could give 2nd their money back or do $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd.

$20 feels lame if this is going to be an 8 person restricted thing every year.

Well it's $25 so that's more exciting.

Ratings are run for the first time all year, team EVs are now calculated. So I'm ready to draft after not watching any college basketball game from start to finish this season. Been a crazy year with family and work.

I could go up a little but since I've never come close to winning, I'm fine with $25 really. If Precipice is our, I'm also OK with trying to create one of his grids to manage the scorekeeping each morning after games.

Remind me of the scoring. The points for winning each game is seed times round number, right? So a 6 seed that make is to the Elite Eight would get 6 for the first round, 12 for the second, and 18 for the third giving them 36 points total?

I am fine with upping but agree it has to be unanimous. We're not kicking out any long term players if they don't want to increase the buy-in.

I was going to suggest $25 as well. I think that is a nice round number and the winner will walk away with $175.

I just threw everyone's name into a list randomizer and it gave me the following draft order:

you see what happens when my mom doesn’t do the draft order? she’s totally fired.

Here is my draft of the scoreboard. It will look insane when all filled in, but if we enlarge it I think it's pretty readable. Note I will put the total at the bottom, forgot to give Zepol the 11 for Texas below. I can make tweaks along the way if anyone has suggestions (but I'm not a designer, artistically this is what you get)
