When you constantly question your swing, you get these results

he needs to go work with lee Trevino for a couple of weeks. That’s the type of instruction he needs, get his head cleared  of the swing demons and swing coaches

Spieth just carded a -7 to finish at -11, taking the lead.

Now, can he not fuck it up tomorrow is the question. Someone will probably go lower than -11 but he's in prime position to not chase anything and just go play golf.

Odds say he will fuck it up tomorrow.  Jordan's scoring average by round:

ROUND 1 SCORING AVERAGE 69.35 10TH
ROUND 2 SCORING AVERAGE 68.40 2ND
ROUND 3 SCORING AVERAGE 71.19 172ND
ROUND 4 SCORING AVERAGE 73.00 195TH

Hope Jordan can buck above negative trend this weekend!🤘

Jordan has 12 birdies and only 1 bogey through  the first two rounds...

How is that even possible?

Think it has to do with the grind of constantly trying to find a score from somewhere that's not a fairway. After awhile, it wears a person out. Weekends also present a tougher challenge than the first two days, mix it all together,  and well....

Double Bogey from the Fairway on #7... Hope it doesn't start a further meltdown.  Four shots back of the Leader...

C'MON JORDAN !!!! 🤘

Spieth pars #18.   Dustin bogey on #18

Spieth 's struggles rubbed off on DJ.

Dustin  -9  (+3)   Spieth -8  (+3)

Reed leads at  -14

Sneds -8

Willett - 5

Reed - 4

All today, the course was gettable for some

I'd like to know the average scores by day, but only for those making the cut (I don't want Tiger & Sergio skewing the results)

Bryson went for interesting to a guy I think I might not like to anguy I absolutely hate this season. Reed got chastised for walking to the tee box ahead of his playing partner a few years ago but if I were fleetwood or Thomas I would have absolutely walked off the green. Sucks tommy still had to hit. Walking off a 70 yard pitch shot is completely inappropriate and Bryson should have been penalized for it. He’s a complete fuckstick. Hope brooks and him get paired up for the championship in a few weeks and brooks flat out body slams him off a tee box. Fuck Bryson.

Conditions were a little tougher late in 3rd Round, so Reed's -4 was almost as good as Sneds -8

Saturday 1st tee for Jordan - 30 yards to the right in a creek.

Sunday 1st tee - 40 yards to the left into the native grass.

It’s honestly unbelievable at this point.

Edit: after a drop off the cart path and blind approach to the green, he sinks a 20 footer for birdie. Still unbelievable.

On Sunday, Spieth had 21 putts in 18 holes.  Moved up 25 spots in FedExCup standings to a ranking of #44.  Will need to move up 14 more spots this coming weekend in Chicago to earn a spot at Tour Championship at East Lake...

BMW Championship at Medinah this week...

BMW Championship: Rory McIlroy relishing Medinah return

https://www.bbc.com/sport/golf/49316504

Rory McIlroy says returning to Medinah for the first time since the 2012 Ryder Cup will "rekindle some fond memories".  Seven years ago, Medinah hosted one of the most memorable sporting comebacks of recent times as a remarkable final day saw Europe retain the trophy.

"Medinah has got some good memories for me," said McIlroy.  "Unbeknown to us at the time, but it was where I met my wife for the first time.  It was an incredible Ryder Cup with everything that happened there."

In what became known as the 'Miracle at Medinah', the USA led 10-6 lead after two days, needing just four and a half points from Sunday's singles to win.  McIlroy, who arrived at at the course just 10 minutes before his tee-off time, beat Keegan Bradley 2&1 as Europe won eight and tied one of the 12 matches.

"We have been sort of excited to get back there all year. If I play next week how I played at Medinah that week, I'd be very happy," said McIlroy.
