Arsenal 2026-27: The Fogging Estandard 🔴⚪️

I don’t mean to brag and boast, but last year’s “Phase Five” prediction was spot on. we have established ourselves among europe’s elite, no question about it. the expectations have gone up a level, to the highest possible level, and we look primed to be here for awhile. we’ve got a title winning team, the best young manager in football, the backing of our ownership, a surprisingly young squad, and we will not be losing our best players like we did in years past, we will be supplementing them with more world class help, such as, say, morgan rogers and junior kroupi? let’s hope so. whoever it is that we let go/bring in, one thing is clear: Arsenal is THE fogging estandard in english football, and as long as Arteta and the Kroenkes are involved, that ain’t gone change. COYG!!! 🔴

Declan Rice reaction after the Champions League final loss to PSG.

He knows how close Arsenal were to winning it. He knows we'll be back.

All the most recent UCL runners-up have bounced back and won it.

Chelsea, Liverpool, and even PSG all lost and came back to win it.
Arsenal:

PL:

22/23 2nd

23/24 2nd

24/25 2nd

25/26 Champions

23/24 quarterfinal

24/25 semifinal

25/26 final

All I know is this team won't give up until they win it.

🚨🚨| David Ornstein speaking to TNT Sports post match says:

Arsenal are in a strong financial position this summer and could even exceed last year’s transfer budget with no issues.

The club are targeting a second striker, a left-sided forward, a No.6, a No.8 and a right-back.

You absolutely deserve to pat yourself on the back. Most of us wanted to believe, but so many years of disappointment made it difficult.

Met police confirm this is the largest crowd gathering for a parade in London. Over 1m people estimated so far, potentially up to 1.5m.

Let’s go get Alvarez and a couple of wingers. Left side has to be the priority but we could use someone on the right who can push Saka to regain form or push him to the bench if it comes to that.

🚨 Since his penalty miss in the #UCL final, Arsenal supporters have made Gabriel the top-selling shirt name at the club.

His printed name is up 350% since Saturday’s final. At one stage he was outselling any other name x2.

No doubt he wanted to play in the World Cup, but…. Silver lining at least from an Arsenal standpoint…. he needs the rest and recuperation time.

if i’m trying to figure out the ways that arsenal could fall off next year, saliba having back surgery two months from now would be near the top of the list.

🚨 BREAKING from @lequipe:

William Saliba may undergo surgery post-World Cup, with the defender contending with back pain. 🇫🇷

Arsenal are already anticipating the Frenchman's unavailability. 🤝

Not sure what procedure William Saliba is planning, but assuming a microdiscectomy in late July:

Aug/Sep: Early rehab (walking, basic core work).

Oct/Nov: Gradual return to training.

Dec/Jan: Realistic return to matches (common window for footballers after microdiscectomy).

also, the phrase, “you never have just one back surgery” comes to mind. this could be a massive blow to not only our upcoming season, but to saliba’s career. back surgery in your early 20’s…not good.

Legit lol. Please, dear God let that be true.

Totally in keeping with a guy who low-key attended an Arsenal match during Italy’s winter break before he signed with us.

Over the last two seasons, Aston Villa have the best injury record of all English clubs competing in European competitions, and the sixth best overall. During this time their players have missed c150 days less than #Arsenal's. Arnaldo Abrantes appointment is ruthless evolution.
