Went by Flores today.

On a sidenote that whole clearfork development is just top notch. The family/developers have done a great job.94d12a4c2b4f1d186980beeb95e93fd7.jpg4dc011481a488d34f4c695356e54e73b.jpgdd5f5331914c7f240704cb3e7dbcee4e.jpg6776efbeb4be8a13c09d920a20f58520.jpg

Flores is currently set up behind Mellow Johnny's bike shop. I stopped by the other day and had brisket and sausage. Both were strong. Certain bites of the moist brisket were very strong. Plus, Big Red in a bottle is always a nice touch. ff89254a77e61458a17ee65acad05657.jpg

Based on the menu, it looks like the green chili grits.

Not sure this right place to ask , but you guys know the are better than me. Wife got a new job out in west lake and toying with the idea of moving to Fort Worth. What are some good areas for couple mid 40s close to restaurants and bars?Looking to stay 500k range or less if possible.

All great options, but I would think driving up 35 to West Lake M-F would be a total nightmare.  Maybe it is better since the express lanes went in.

Yea there is no way I would ever live south or west Ft. Worth and commute to Westlake. Restaurant and nightlife scene isnt THAT great to live through hell twice a day.

My fault, I had never heard of Westlake. Disregard previous suggestion.

Went by Derek Allen BBQ. Food was hit or miss and nothing better than Flores or Panther City. Brisket and sausage was good but the pork ribs were terrible. Burnt and the rub had an "off" flavor. Nothing special about the sides. Woman working the register is pretty hot.0f060d3c17801089a5ee2f65d1482b1a.jpg2d473885f544dfe6b1aa41e6463aa2b7.jpg8f892580513c38536c7ba190c9aa86c8.jpgfb5feb6e64c6fba2658c4b142785e45b.jpg1cd870cbde8f85883cf9f514e1895a65.jpgc157fc17ab73f1278bc68366bc0bb33e.jpg89d426b90f8ba194d4bda5c143097a87.jpg

Sounds like Rogers Roundhouse isnt long for this world. Sister bartended there but made no money and they shorted her on her last couple checks.

Never fails to amaze me when these places go all in on construction and decoration and then can't pay their employees.

They should have spent some money on advertising and social media.

The only place I have ever heard mention of that spot is in this thread.

We went at 12:30-1ish today and it wasn’t even bad at all. Didn’t even have to wait in a checkout line. We had more than 15 items but the line to one of those lanes was empty and the cashier pulled us in her line.

That gottdamn area in the back where people are cooking and talking on mic was crowded but that was the only bad part.

They’re putting a fucking trampoline park in that LONG-closed movie theater by Woody’s. Good luck there, hope your rent is cheap.

Dads will love it though, drop the kiddos off for a birthday party, head next door.

Went by Taqueria Pepe inside the Mr. C gas station in Willow Park. Im pretty sure someone recommended the place earlier in the thread. Pretty solid. I got al Pastor, pollo and asada. Pretty small tacos but i felt full with an order of 4. The red salsa is dangerous. Also got a large iced tea. Paid $10.50. af374b26120445a76101c763001d8f13.jpg3e312ef03ba38eae7db21f3b5e8fd6f1.jpg
