Who was on my Austin flight? Austin band?

Was on two Allegiant flights to/from Knoxville this past weekend (I know I know... was off by a week but boy are they looking forward to playing Texas) and there was a band on the flight and I could not figure out who they were.

So, they must have been Austin-based but cannot figure out who they were. I'm thinking maybe someone can figure out who they were based on the description. Looked like this...

Blonde, very attractive female singer. Blond, wavy hair, probably in her 30s. She seemed to like wearing a jacket with a big embroidered tiger face on the back (pretty distinctive)

One guitarist was gate-checking his bag but he had a prosthetic leg. Probably in his 40s.

Another guy with with facial hair, had a jacket with a patch that said "good guy"

Was another guy in the back who brought his guitar in the plane

BUT the singer was very familiar looking and I'm not sure how many bands have a guitarist with one prosthetic leg.

What's the guess (other than dickbutt)?

They were flying Allegiant so I am assuming they were a giant touring act.

Based on my daughter's experience, almost nobody was flying anywhere until today. Holy crap what a freakshow, at least in the northeast. Thanks, Obama.

(No idea what band that might have been.)

Blonde singer. Guy with facial hair. Guy with a guitar. That pretty much nails it down.

I typed your description into google ai and it came up with Little Big Town.

ased on the highly specific details you remembered, you almost certainly ran into the country/rock band Little Big Town.

Here is how all your clues perfectly line up with the group:

  • The Singer: The blonde, very attractive singer in her 30s/40s with wavy hair is Karen Fairchild (or potentially her blonde bandmate, Kimberly Schlapman). Karen is famous for her signature rocker-chic style and frequently wears statement jackets, including distinctive tiger-embroidered clothing.

  • The Guitarist with the Prosthetic Leg: Little Big Town’s touring lead guitarist is John Thomasson (who famously plays with a prosthetic leg).

  • The "Good Guy" Jacket: The band's baritone singer, Jimi Westbrook (who has prominent facial hair and is married to Karen Fairchild), often wears vintage and patch-work jackets. The "Good Guy" patch refers to the vintage Chucky / Child's Play "Good Guys" doll logo, which is a highly popular retro patch and clothing line.

  • The Guy in the Back: The other male co-founder who sings and plays guitar is Phillip Sweet, which explains the second guitar being carried onto the plane. [1, 2, 3]

historically being on the same flight as a Southern band has not been a good omen

Wouldn't it be easier to play the guitar with his hands? This I gotta see!

Well, to my knowledge she's never performed as a blonde (and I say this because I have a mild fascination with her). Also, she's closer to 60 than 50 (and certainly not 30s/40s). So, I'm not sure I'd trust the AI in this instance. Anyway, here's a nice little titillating ditty:
