2018-19 Houston Rockets Thread of running it back (mainly)

I feel like I missed out on something with the whole dragon ball whatever.

I have zero exposure to anything related, takes away from my ability to appreciate BPT as much as I would like...

When do the trade rumors really start heating up? I bet we end up trading Gordon but curious what is even available that would be considered a "upgrade"? Any big names possibly on the trading block that we could realistically get?

And I disagree with the announcers on that last play. Even though the ball was out of the hand of the offensive player for a while before the foul you still can’t run over a defender holding their ground. Good call IMO

Why the fuck would we trade Gordon? Especially given CP3’s health issues.

Love Faried’s hustle, rebounding and defense tonight. Amazing how bad Morey’s off-season moves were and how good his in-season moves have been.

Gordon with 2 of the dumbest end of game decisions that we have seen in a while. Stepping out of bounds and hoisting a shot when we needed to run the clock out. Fuck that was dumb

Faried seems like a good pick up.

i keep thinking " damn Nene is quick!"

good thing KL isn't the greatest 3 shooter, a make there would have been one of the most painful reg season losses in recent history.

All HOU has to do is get the 3rd seed, avoid GS until the WCF and they're set when CP3 and Cap come back. Probably have to cut someone , which one, sad that has to happen.

I walked into the bar when the score was 92-74.  Just in time to see the 13 straight missed threes, leads lost/gained/lost again, and all around pants shitting.  Loved those Faried hustle plays though.

outside of the last couple of minutes, that was a really good game against a very good team.  was great to see the "other" guys play well tonight.  when everyone is healthy, getting big nights from just 2 of the non harden, paul, capela core will make this team very tough to beat.

Gordon was always the most solid piece in any grade for a upgrade. I wasn’t saying trade Gordon for some role player, I’m saying if there was a third star we could acquire with Gordon and first rounders I would do it.

Am I crazy to think that we might have a better overall team in terms of roster construction for the playoffs than last year? Obviously, we don’t have the record of last year but I think our bench is better than last year’s. Hopefully, we can get Danuel House under contract soon. If we do, our wings compared to last year would be much improved.

i think that, fully healthy, this team is definitely deeper than last year's team.

last year, after paul went down, they basically had 6 playable players against the warriors: harden, gordon, tucker, ariza, capela and green.

this year, if healthy, they can play all of these guys against the warriors: harden, paul, gordon, tucker, capela, rivers, faried, ennis and green.  that is not counting danuel house who they can hopefully get back, or brandon knight/whatever they can turn him into at the deadline.

If it was me, I’d have Austin Rivers running point when CP3 is getting back into the groove the next few games especially since Rivers is shooting like shit. Can’t grab a rebound tonight.

Well he was playing like shit, and saying some passive aggressive stuff to the media.

Hooefully he’s gotten over his slump, and over himself.
