Buddy started dating a woman. Getting serious enough for him to spend weekends at her place. Twice in 4 months dog (pit) has cornered him. If they sit on the couch together, pittie gets between them and stares at him. If buddy gets up, pit growls. She thinks it is cute and pits are just misunderstood. "Oh, he is just like that and interested in new people." She locks the pit up in his kennel from 7-7 when buddy stays over. What about the 12 hours he is out and awake?

She works from home, 45ish year old nurse, never married, longest relationship is 11.5 months. He does not see the red flags. Cray dog owned by cray woman means he getting chomped some time. I ask him every week if he still has his penis.

8-Year-Old Boy is Killed by Loose Dogs

January 15, 2025 by David Jones

The peaceful community of DeLand was rocked by a horrifying incident when an 8-year-old boy was fatally mauled by two dogs. The attack took place in the quiet neighborhood near Airport Road and Arabesque Drive, an area unaccustomed to such brutal events.

Residents, although reluctant to share their thoughts on camera, voiced their shock at the incident. A long-time resident painted a picture of a chaotic scene, marked by police presence and crime scene tape. The young boy had been playing near a local park when the dogs, identified as a pit bull and a mixed breed, initiated their attack.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, triggering a wave of reactions on social media. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood addressed the public, describing the event as “a tragedy beyond comprehension.” He encouraged the community to extend their prayers and support to the bereaved family.

An eyewitness, who happened to be nearby at the time of the incident, made the initial 911 call and tried to administer CPR to the young victim. Despite these efforts, the boy did not survive his injuries. The sheriff’s office has since apprehended both dogs and is holding them for further investigation.

Authorities are working tirelessly to unravel the circumstances leading up to the attack. Sheriff Chitwood is expected to provide more details in an upcoming press conference, aiming to shed light on this tragic event.

As the investigation progresses, the community remains anxious, seeking answers and hoping for measures to prevent such tragedies in the future. The neighborhood, typically known for its tranquility, is now wrestling with the harsh reality of the incident.

In the coming days, more information is expected as investigators continue their work. The community’s resilience and solidarity will be put to the test as they navigate the aftermath of this devastating loss.

Elderly Woman Fatally Attacked by Cocaine-Infused Pit Bulls: Lawsuit

March 16, 2025 by David Jones

In a distressing event in Ohio, a 73-year-old woman lost her life after being brutally attacked by her neighbor’s pit bulls, which were later found to have cocaine in their system, according to a lawsuit. JoAnn Echelbarger was attending to her garden in the shared spaces of her Ashton condominium in October when the dogs, Echo and Apollo, launched their assault.

Stanley Echelbarger, JoAnn’s husband, who is suffering from dementia and is confined to a wheelchair, could only witness the horrifying scene as his wife was savagely attacked for several minutes. The lawsuit claims that one of the dogs continued the attack even after police officers fired shots to stop the assault.

Earlene Romine, Echelbarger’s daughter, shared her grief and shock over the horrific incident. She expressed her disbelief at the tragic circumstances of her mother’s death, stating that no one should have to endure such a brutal attack.

Investigations following the incident revealed that both dogs had cocaine in their systems. The dogs’ owners, Adam Withers and his mother, Susan, were convicted of involuntary manslaughter in connection with Echelbarger’s death last month, according to court records.

Bill Rogers, the victim’s son, expressed his anger towards the dog owners, questioning their responsibility in his mother’s death. The family has initiated a lawsuit against the dog owners, the condominium association, and the county dog warden, accusing them of negligence and overlooking several warning signs about the dogs’ behavior.

The lawsuit also refers to an incident that took place just weeks before the fatal attack. Police body camera footage revealed officers responding to reports that Echo and Apollo had consumed Adam Withers’ cocaine. The lawsuit alleges that the dog warden was unresponsive to the situation.

Despite the Withers’ failure to comply with an order to remove the dogs from the condominium, the pit bulls were allowed to stay. The lawsuit also accuses Adam Withers of mocking building management through social media posts.

The family is seeking more than $25,000 in compensatory damages and punitive damages through a wrongful death suit. Rex Elliot, the family’s attorney, stated that they are seeking justice and emphasized that local authorities had a duty to remove the dogs from the premises.

How many gunshots hit the victim instead of the dog?
