one thing i'm curious about in this series - the dodgers are super deep and love to play righty-lefty matchups with their lineups.  the brewers are gonna go to their pen early and often, with both righties and lefties.  if you're roberts, how do you control your instinct to stack lineups, when the whole thing could change by the 2nd or 3rd inning?  how do you avoid wasting your players, who may or may not even face the guy they were inserted in the lineup to hit against?

i'm also curious to see how the dodgers bullpen does, since they're obviously gonna try to lean on their starters for innings.  kershaw is over 50 and not out of the 3rd.  not a great situation on the road facing the brewers lineup/pen.

Soooo... bringing in Hader to face the bottom of the order in the 5th with a 4-run lead?

Does this make sense?

No.  Especially since they don’t normally use him on back to back days, which means he could be burned for tomorrow.

Clevinger is the same. If he didn’t act like a spaz, he would be average.

all that movement and misdirection is what gives some of the asian pitchers their effectiveness.  though it typically wears off after a few years.
