I got a Yeti as a gift. I don't like brand labels, so I put a sticker on it to cover up the Yeti. I didn't know this is what the kids and the gays do. Do I need to remove this sticker?

I bought one of the original Hoppers at a charity auction 5 years ago and the zipper failed on me a few months ago.  I submitted a request on their website for a replacement and even though I couldn't remember the date of purchase, didn't buy from an authorized seller and was well past the two year warranty, they sent me an email back the next day with four different items I could chose from to replace it.  I ended up going with a Flip and it showed up a few days after I sent mine into them.  Pretty dang good customer service.

F the haters.

no one hates the quality of the product or the support/service. it is the up front price that people hate

Tried to get "Hook 'em" on a tumbler a few minutes ago.  This seems odd.

It is not odd. The University of Texas owns the copyright.

That's what I figured.  They sell Longhorn logo tumblers but I didn't realize "Hook 'em" was trademarked.

$62 sounded a lot better than $300 for something that will be sitting in my garage 99.9999999999% of the time

$62 for my yeti clone, I’ve yet to use it but it’s covered in stickers

I'd guess every phrase you can think of that's commonly related to Texas is trademarked.  Maybe try "OU Sucks" to see how deep the rabbit hole goes.

"12th Man" and "Roll Tide" are off limits as well. That's kind of depressing, to tell the truth.

"Think," the old IBM motto isn't though.

Would be cool if they could do it in IBM font. I’d buy ‘em.

Looks like a pretty nice skillet. Is there anybody else doing cast iron these days that actually takes the time to grind the inside down smooth? But still, the price is crazy.

I bought some of those Academy camping chairs for $5 each. It's been about five years and they are still going strong except the mesh drink holder in one of them tore.

I figure I have another 3-4 years and then I will need new ones. They've gone up to $6. So I could get one Yeti camping chair or 50 Academy chairs.

Those $5 Academy camp chairs just don't look right on my high-rise downtown condo balcony.

Can you imagine when the winds kick up and yeet one of those things off the balcony? Would be hilarious to watch

I own 4 of those. The only downsides are they are large when folded down and heavy AF. However, there’s not a more comfortable camp chair for the price point.

Yeah, I wouldn't use them if you're looking for something light.  They're certainly not for camping during a hike/etc, but they're awesome for a campsite for a weekend, or a trip to the beach.

We have two - considering we live on the sidelines of kids soccer games, they are invaluable!

I bet the percentage of aggy that owns Yeti is 95%. A few of them probably have to take out a second mortgage for the complete campsite, but that seems like the kind of dumb shit they cant resist.

I've known exactly one person that owned and actually needed a YETI cooler - fishing guide up on Texoma that didn't have built in storage on his boat for stripers.  He'd fill those giant coolers with ice and they'd be good to go all day.  Everyone else - meh.

Paying more than the cost of the Lodge cast iron (or Lodge enameled Dutch ovens) is fucking stupid.

Stupid people are Yeti's target audience.

I'm a sucker for the Yeti stainless drink-ware for sure, been drinking my morning coffee in one of their 14oz coffee mugs for years at this point. Got one of the big gulp sized tumblers with a straw that I refill at gas stations when on the road and load up with mixed drinks at the pool. Even got a wine tumbler for drinking some vino while camping. All good shit thats gonna last but this $400 cast iron is really getting out there into "Yuppie stuff" even more than all of the above.

I own two Yeti cups. One was an incentive gift when I bout a truck bed cover. The other I bought, the burnt Orange Longhorn logo 20oz rambler.

I have a couple of Rtics. Those are also overpriced. I’ll say this though, and I imagine it’s even worse at the Yeti store, when you go into Rtic, all the different products and colors make you want to buy stuff. Shit you don’t need for prices you shouldn’t pay (no matter what your posted pay stub says).
