Seat 10, I guess. I can fart on Graham and kick the back of Greene's seat. IMG_20240823_181956.jpg

The best head you are getting on this plane is in seat 10, that bottom has pron star level practice, but I would make a deal with the devil and kick the shit out of the seat in front of me. I will take 3.

The correct answer is 5.  Seat 3 IS next to arguably the nicest passenger already on the plane, but you know Trump is putting his seat back as far as he can, and Jones yelling near your ear the whole flight?  No.

I've seen Vance's donut shop banter.  He's the least likely to blather on for the whole flight, and I'm not a couch, so there's some safety there.

You get to seat 5.  "How long have you been on the plane?" he asks.

Tex: "Five minutes."

JD: "Ok."  <Long Pause>  "You also going to San Diego?"

Tex: "Yeah.  We're on the same plane."

JD: "Ok."

An uncomfortable smile-ish sort of thing from him: "I'm running for Vice President of the United States," a confused and pitying look from me: "Ok," then it's just turn and look out the window for the rest of the flight, with an occasional "You're 'accidentally' touching my leg again, JD" rebuke, and a weird "Ok," from him.  Then hopefully we're almost in San Diego by then.

Same.  For the same reason.  That dude would be crawling out of his skin sitting next to a stranger in the 1st place.  The last thing he'll want to do is talk, which is the last thing I'd want him to do.  So we're good.  Window seat isn't great, but there's no one behind me, so whatever.  Seat 1 is the worst. You'd have to listen to the incel beside you and Don behind you.

I don't have the skill to turn it into a meme, but Vance reminds me of the kid in the leather hat and goggles waiting to see Santa with Ralph and Randy in A Christmas Story.  Every time he speaks, it sounds like, "I like the Wizard of Oz."  Weirdo.

I'd also give credit for the "I like turtles" kid, especially since they both rock raccoon eyes

The inability to see what a self own that is when you type all of those names out in one place is truly astonishing to me. And you know she spent a solid 30 seconds debating whether to include Ron Schneider before landing on "he's not serious enough."

I'm Black, so seat 2 with a Durag and Nike slides on. Though I am sure once the lights went off I would get a friendly tap on the shoulder asking to come to seat 9.............................or 10.

You know Brigitte was desperate to have a black person on her “freedom loving Hollywood” list when she includes some nobody named Joy Villa.  I googled her and STILL have no idea who she is.

You two don't know what satire is?

I think I know what satire is.  I know it's almost bed time for you but can you explain what's satirical about the post they're referring to?

Quote

the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

I just grabbed the definition from pasting satire in the search bar.  His tweet as it stands alone may not necessarily be viewed as satire.  I'm making fun of those who would deny a double standard, by using his tweet as a medium for satire.
