Fun fact: 0-5 Nebraska has outgained 3 out 5 opponents.

Frost will have them in the B1G championship game by year 3. Adrian Martinez might be a top 3-4 QB in that conference and he is only a Freshman.

Wow, heads up play.

I don’t know. I’d rather see him just get on it. Risking possession in that situation isn’t worth trying to get the first. I’d also rather see Ozigbo in there.

He might be a top 3-4 talent, which will develop into all-conference, but right now there are way too many mistakes to call him a top qb.

If you take out the Michigan game in which the entire team got pillaged, he has played really well, he lit up a pretty good Wisconsin defense. The hardest thing to find is a QB and Nebraska has one.

Yards are great, but they aren’t translating to victories, because of mistakes. He’s played pretty well this game, but you can look at two mistakes which has put this game in jeopardy.

1. He didn’t read the blitzers on the fumble/touchdown. There was no mystery there. NW lined up more blitzers than NU had blockers. An experienced QB gets out of that play. A less experienced one doesn’t get out of the play, but releases the pass quickly. Not only does Martinez hold on to it, he doesn’t even see the pressure coming, gets lit up, loses the ball, NW scores.

2. He doesn’t read the safety on the interception, ending a good scoring threat.

They’re freshman mistakes. He’s a freshman. He’ll improve. But he’s not there yet.

Lol 4th and short shotgun

Well, it’s an offense that rarely lines up the the qb behind center. They did twice that I remember today, and on one of them they fumbled.
