I guess those are reasons but he also pitched Friday night and warmed up two or three times last night.  I think it would make more sense to throw Pomeranz tonight and have Price and Sale ready on normal rest in Boston, only needing to win one out of the two.

Shows what I know.  Pearce or Price for MVP?

You know how I know you didn’t watch the 98 NLCS live?

I watched it live.

I still hate Trevor Hoffman.

EDIT: Shit. I am getting old and forgetful. It was the NLDS.

So depressed.  Both years ran into a superior AL team.  We had a better team last year.  Who knows when we can get back.

Probably a bad time to ask, but what's the feeling out there about what Kershaw is going to do?

I think the only way he opts out is if he already has some sort of extension agreement with the Dodgers.

You need to go ahead and fire Roberts. Yea 2 years to the Series but in that crucible he has proven he isn't up to the task.  They may have lost on talent anyway but the Dodgers manager doesn't seem to help them.

Kershaw needs a change of scenery....he's the new David Price.  With even more regular season awesomeness and post season disappointment

Kersh will opt out, as he’d have a much harder time getting one last multi year mega deal at 33 years old vs 31 years old. Especially if stays on the downward trajectory he’s been on over the last couple of years.

I am sure the Dodgers will stump up the cash but I think it’ll prove to be a bad investment over time.

What a team. Wow.

So they went 7-1 on the road in the playoffs against the Yankees, Astros, and Dodgers, with the only loss being in 18 innings...

They're in the conversation for best team in MLB modern history.
