What behavior has this nitwit exhibited in the entire time that we’ve been aware of his existence on this earth that would make you think he’s capable of being smart about anything?

If he can make it to 55, his nfl pension should pay him 4-5k per month.

This guy is the perfect representation of the Charlie Strong era. “I was turnt” after a 60 yard opening kickoff return.

Quote

As Boyd headed toward the sideline toward an irate Ross, he shoved the coach. It was out of boisterous enthusiasm, Boyd emphasized, not because of any ill will at all toward the popular, enthusiastic assistant coach.

“I was just too excited,” Boyd said. “I did something I shouldn’t have done. I shouldn’t have done it, keep my helmet on.”

Boyd said he was happy that he forced the fumble and that was why he threw the helmet, which is highly illegal and potentially dangerous.

“I was turnt,” Boyd said. “That first play, kickoff, they thought they had a big play and I got the ball out and, as I’m getting up, I look at the screen and I see nothing but white (jerseys) and they’re all pointing (Texans’ way). So, I was like, ‘Oh yeah, we got the ball, too. Turnover.’ I was just turnt. You can see I ran up to everybody getting ready to shake their hands, but then someone grabbed me like, ‘Nah, it’s not good. They got a flag and it’s their ball.”

Didn’t Aaron Rodgers get a slo mo shove taken out of context as well? Also Boyd is a retard but he was a pretty decent DB/ST player when he wasn’t drawing flags, not sure why people are surprised he got drafted.

edit: jk saw the full speed version Boyds was way worse

I can buy this actually. Imagining a confirmed Houston recovery was the outcome, the excessive celebration (helmet toss) and ST coach shove perfectly aligns with my understanding of Kris Boyd.

"Turnt"?  I'm not exactly dialed in these days, but isn't that expression a couple of decades old?

Maybe one decade but a decade ago was Boyd’s heyday

His explanation is what I thought on seeing the exchange.  I don't mind him getting excited with his coach.

"Celebrating" causing a fumble that wasn't recovered after allowing a 60+yard KR and then removing and throwing your helmet is some Grade A dumbassery

I'm thinking you're being facetious.

But then maybe you're not.

In any event, Parcells referred to players by jersey number all the time.

And by position as well.

What were we talking about?

Not sure what anyone else is talking about but you just compared Chuckles to Bill Parcells and it looked like you were interested in putting in more work to defend the guy. So please, keep going.

Nah, not comparing at all.

Nor defending.

There can be no fathomable comparison of Charley to Bill Parcells. One has to really be reaching.

Why would I do that?

It's not true.

I guess it's good to know I'm not worthy of being on CTJ's ignore list.

I'm actually honored.

Jeez, it’s like you all didn’t realize Kris was just acting out a scene from Seinfeld where Elaine shoves Jerry because she’s so happy and excited.

Nonsense. You can compare them all you want!

Let's see.

They're both male humans.

They've both held head football coaching jobs. That alone makes them more like each other than they are like most folks. Practically twins, on a global scale.

ummmmmmm

uhhh

Got nothing else

How can you play football this long and still not have even a basic understanding of how to conduct yourself?

Dumbassery abounds in the NFL.  DBs flex, put the sword back in the scabbard, etc. like they did something when the QB over/under throws the receiver by 5 yards or WR drops a pass.  WRs catch a 7 yard pass for a first down, get up with theatrics and point to a first down.  Defenders make a tackle after a 6 yard gain and stare the offensive player down while getting up.  So much showboating after routine plays.

Now get off of my lawn while I find something else to complain about.

I’d rather hear Frank Ross say they’re fine rather than hearing it from Boyd.

Hope he didn’t ruin his career this close to reaching NFL pension

He immediately starts celebrating thinking he caused a turnover.

The “push” is exactly why corporate media fucking sucks. You seem them talking after the “push” for a quick second before the slow mo and they are fine. Probably asking was ball out before he was down.

You are so correct. I’ll see you in the front yard so we can both yell at the clouds.

Honestly, the fact he can get that hype on ST is probably why he still has a place in the league. But holy shit he has zero self-control. Just looks like a fool throwing his helmet and coming in that hard.

I have a 33 YO stepdaughter who peppers her language with more "like"(s) than commas.  I imagine she's terrific on job interviews.
