Rhett Bomar and Blake Bell would like a word with you.

Shiiit, ou dodged a bullet losing Bomar, and Bell was nothing more then a very short but effective stopgap. Not exactly a accurate evaluation of just how well some really, really average QB’s have been made successful in a system that had continuity. They also are working on their 4th Heisman campaign under that system. Hate em for sure. But that’s a track record any team would enjoy.

Jason White could not carry Colt McCoy's jockstrap.  Same with Baker Mayfield and Vince Young.  The midget is headed to baseball and his Oakland A's millions.  Fuck OU and their "Heisman" winners.  They do have a system for sure.  Colt beat the cross-eyed golden boy on the field 45-35.  Case beat old bag of dicks.

The biggest loss would be Hollywood Brown if he declares as he probably will. That kid has score from anywhere on the field ability that is hard to replace. I think Riley might leave, if  the offensive exodus that most likely happens occurs.

OU could lose both starting tackles, both starting guards, starting QB, starting RB, and best WR.

You have to wonder if this plays into the decision calculus of Riley jumping to the NFL.

They lost a lot last year too but it would be a total rebuild on the offensive line if both tackles declare.

The NFL would chew Riley up and spit him out in 2 years. No way he leaves a 10+ year gig at OU for that at his age.

Not sure if serious.

I have no clue what Riley's personal preference is but almost all college coaches jump to the NFL because 1) it's the highest level of football 2) most coaches hate having to deal with recruiting year round and 3) NCAA rules make college football annoying.

I would guess if Riley is offered a NFL job he is almost certainly gone. If Riley flames out in the NFL he's still young and can find another elite college gig.
