Trump kicks out 60 Russian diplomats in response to UK attack

But, you know, his response hasn't been nearly enough to constitute a condemnation of the event.

Quote

The Trump administration on Monday ordered the expulsion of 60 Russian intelligence and diplomatic officers in New York and Washington and the closure of the Russian Consulate in Seattle, joining European allies in retaliation for the poisoning of a former Russian spy in Britain.
Twelve Russian diplomats at the United Nations in New York and 48 at the Russian Embassy in Washington face expulsion by the U.S. government for what senior administration officials described as covert intelligence operations that undermine U.S. national security.
The U.S. government also ordered the Russian Consulate in Seattle closed by April 2.

Here, I'll even give you a liberal MSM link through which you can enjoy tasting Trump's ass as he once again proves the leftists wrong.

i'm as democrat as they come and i say this was a good move on trumps part. this was the first time in a year and a half that he's been willing to admit wrongdoing on russia's part and actually done something about it.   these hackers over there are operating under the protection of putin.  great story in this mornings aas about russian hackers stealing millions upon millions from spanish banks.  he is doing nothing to crack down on activities within his borders and until he does so his diplomats need to pay the price.  kick all the motherfuckers out, freeze their assets.

Putin isn't going to do shit about stuff like the bank hacking because he and his buddies are all getting a cut out of it.

thats exactly right.  he is complicit.  it's about time trump starting showing a little backbone.  calling him to congratulate for a great win, is bs considering he eliminated his only opponent (who was actually doing quite well against him).  putin is corrupt and needs to be treated coldly.

Is this where we've landed as a country?  We're now supposed to laud Trump anytime he puts forth the bare minimum effort in his duties as president?

It's like congratulating a 7 year old for using the toilet instead of shitting on the rug.

Yes, I'm happy he grew enough of a spine to kick out some Russian spies, but it was literally the least he could do.

So much this.  And he still won’t call out Vlad by name (or stormy)

Uhhh, Putin wants Trump to hire nothing but stooges like Bolton and Pompeo.

Putin was all for Tillerson until it was discovered Rex thought for himself and stood up for the United States when his job demanded it.

McMaster was also let go for essentially doing his job and standing up to the Kremlin.

Continental Western Europe is going to offer lip service wrt punishing Russia, at best.

As discussed on other threads on a site that shall not be named, politicians here in Germany and elsewhere in Europe need dat gas and oil from an actor seen by the public as reasonable (Russia) as opposed to participating in a PR circle-jerk session with an actor seen as politically schizophrenic (the US).

And, yes, Russia is seen as sufficiently dangerous (but yet rational and predictable) here while the US is currently seen as completely unpredictable.

And don't shoot the messenger.
