I used to drive by the PourHouse location damn near every day, but never stopped in after they tore down the original to build those apartments. I guess you park in the parking garage.

Yep.  I always found open spots right near the north entrance to the garage.

I will be partaking of some sammiches.

Tam Deli has my favorite banh mi, but I haven't been since BC.  It was a regular lunch spot when I was still working in the office in the area.

Tried a place up next to H-MArt that was pretty good, Banh Mi Galang.

Jew Boy Subs in the old Pour House on Burnet is great. Better beer selection than than the Pour House too.

Chicken fajita sub.

Can confirm. Had the carne asada cheesesteak (border style) and it was fantastic. I think I enjoyed the sandwich more than the burger.

I think there was a change of ownership a couple years ago, no?  How has it held up?

IMG_3543.thumb.jpeg.56fbc0212610ebb0b5310c87d61613da.jpegI had the new Pinthouse Italian sub today. It’s up there with the Home Slice version. HS would win with me because of the toasted bread but Pinthouse is close.

The Parisian from the rotisserie chicken place at Fareground at 111 Congress. Fresh baguette with just butter, cheese, and ham. The perfect simple sandwich. Delicious.

meatball sub at pinthouse is good, but not $15 good.

Had it last night. Opted for no pesto but added the banana peppers. It was good but the Italian is better.
