That’s exactly Paul Krugman said in his column today. Says that we are Poland and Hungary if the Dems don’t win. Welcome to surly Professor

The stakes are enormous.

And yet, the Vampires still win.

If she had won, tonight would be a bloodletting for Democrats in Congress.

As it stands now, they are probably going to flip the House.

They were never going to flip the Senate.

Prediction markers basically calling the house 50 50. It seems pretty clear to me that they will take the house but the blue wave appears to be a purple ripple.

This is my read. Deepening divisions basically.

Only you with your deranged mind is saying that. Focus on the results big guy

I'm not sure what you think I'm deranged about.  Do you even know what deranged means?

You've admitted it in more ways than one.  Just own up to it.  You are who you are.  Just still not sure how you root for anyone on the football team though.

Krugman is brilliant but he's a freaking kook on politics. Read his economic takes - ignore his politics.

He said the stock market and economy would tank the night that Trump was elected.

Hi guys. Not sure if y'all remember my thoughts on Beto vs Lizard Man, but I said he'll take Wilco and Hays. Tarrant is the real tipping point for this state. And, yes, I realize Harris is still out and I still have hope.

America is already over.  We’re just trying to stop the bleeding now.

You've been reading Norman Vincent Peale, I see.

Man, this is disheartening.  Fear is a hell of a motivator.

Ehh, not really.  Only thing is I had Gillum and Nelson winning.

Never had a "wave" but did have Dems winning the House.

Pretty much doing what they should be doing.

Dems need to find a candidate and message for 2020 and start in the morning.

In other important news and a slight break from the politics, Andrew Jones just checked into the basketball game for Texas.

Fucking awesome.  What a tough kid.

Healthcare will drive the 2020 election.

Dems have GOT to get rid of Pelosi somehow.

NOt sure why Rs (hard r as well) don't like her, Pelosi makes them come out of the woodwork.

Upshot of Gillum losing, is that it appears that Florida passed an amendment restoring voting rights to felons, which is going to be a monumental shift in the state's politics

Yep.... she's more unpopular than Trump.  She'd be a good whip but she's a terrible face for their party.

What if they’re MAGA though??

Yes, this is like adding another state to the electorate.  I'll take it.

If they win the House, she's going to be the Speaker of the House, and rightly so.

She's a master politician.

I agree.  I would also like to see a qual/quant research study on how she's caused Ds to lose races as well because I believe it's there.

She can fund raise behind the curtains.

Fear, hatred of others, racism, hypocrisy, lack of accountability, and fake Christianity - the principles of the GOP.  And it works.  Disheartening indeed.
