Thought the same thing.

I saw that manana boat several times and thought it was a bar but only appeared to be clothes.

We saw them q couple of times and then they did a couple of popups around town.  We'll see what happens this summer.

Supposed to hit up Pool Burger today.  Is there inside seating or is this a bad idea on a rainy day?

The inside part is pretty small, but it's there.

How's that burger? Not sure austin needed another $20 smashburger and fries joint, but I dig the location.

It was ok. The bun is way too thick so it might be better as a double.

ate there friday night and concur, burger was serviceable but didn't leave me wanting for a return trip.

Went to the new brick and mortar Leroy and Lewis location.  Burger, pulled lamb, sliced brisket and horseradish potato salad were all great.  The pork hash gravy and rice was surprisingly lacking flavor.

Went back to Redbud last night. They do a special burger each night called the Buddy Burger. Yesterday it was a pimento cheese and bacon burger. Slammed and went hard, imo. Fried pickles are really good.

I was in town for the track meet yesterday and went to Crown and Anchor.  Holy hell that burger was great and a great deal considering prices at other joints.  The only drawback was I wanted to eat outside but the 10,000 flies chased me back inside.

I rank it ahead of Dirty’s

Crown was a huge part of my law school days, and thankfully is still there and going strong. I’m paired with a law student as part of UT’s mentoring program and met him there for beers a couple months ago and it felt like I was in a time warp. I need to go there more often.

There was some nice eye candy there when I went and it was definitely not peak hours.

Holy shit that looks good.  To bad that place is so far out of the way.  But now I'm tempted to go there anyway.

Yeah, Bill's is one of my current favorite burgers in town.  I also like the other food, but it's on the pricier side.  I've been there a couple times over the past several months during a weekend lunch, and the place wasn't crowded, so I hope they're otherwise doing well and remain for the longer term.

adp is a weird place. it was really good for a while and then i'm assuming they changed owners because it became absolutely terrible. looks like it might be time to give them another try because i don't remember a burger on the menu previously.

I like their hush puppies.

I’m a two minute walk from them, but I’ve eaten there probably twice in the last five years. But I saw that they added a burger, so…

One of life’s trivial pleasure is scraping the cheese off the foil to eat on its own.
