If he can figure out a way to hold refs in this conference accountable for their mistakes and decisions, then he’s a wizard.

Welcome to life on the field in burnt orange, Chris. We are held to a different standard.

If he was ejected for bitching at the refs I will love this man.

Edit: Looks like he wasn't ejected. Damn I wanted this to  be true.

Come on, there's no way Brian Davis was wrong.

Good for him.  Fuck the officiating in this conference.   Actually, just fuck this conference.    We gone

No we're not. This conference is great. Fuck you.

But hopefully he can help get the officiating turned around. The officiating is indeed miserably bad.

I am more than a little sorry that this was a false alarm.

He keeps finding new ways to impress and this would have put his legend status into orbit.

Maybe he can pick up a Lubbock STD and really be properly initiated to this scene.

I think the refs set some kind of record with reviews tonight.  They must get paid kickbacks from FOx for each review.

And yet the booth was dead silent during the questionable TT catch.

you know damn well if that was Texas with that "catch" the fucking review team would have come down- we have had that happen more times this year than I can count, the fucking review team is johnny on the spot when we have a potential bad catch that needs to be looked at, but they are nowhere to be seen when its the other team having a hightly questionable catch.

And while we're at it CDC, can we never again have Brando and the sooner do our games? Their biases against Texas make it difficult to watch the game.
4 hours with mute. 4 hours.

Why do we not call time out when that pass should have been called out of bounds in the 4th quarter?

Was wondering the same fucking thing. That shit was screaming for a review. They reviewed every got damn thing else. Why not that?

CDC might not have been ejected, but he certainly had Texas Rangers "escorting" him away from the ref and sideline. The game stopped waiting for the ref to get the Rangers attention and CDC away from him.

Good.

Is any of this real? The first tweet by Davis was already proven to be bull shit. I can see this turning into Internet legend about the time our AD went after the refs in Lubbock when the story was made up.

I wish I had known Brando and Tillman were calling our game. I shot the shit with the Fox Sports producer briefly at the hotel after the game. We talked about how the officiating reviews work from behind the scenes. I would have been glad to tell him how much we dislike those two assclowns calling our games.

I'll have to watch a replay to know for sure which play but was late in fourth. I do not know it was DelConte for sure from where we were sitting. But someone on Texas sideline wearing one of those long dusters at around 10-20 yard line of Tech was "moved" from right next to ref to middle of sideline within feet of the stands by rangers. Lots of talking appeared to be going on.  I assumed this was was Brian Davis was referring to, maybe just a CDC lookalike
