So the Dubai police force has invested in $115,000 hoverbikes to bolster their...who the fuck knows. They can travel as 60mph and at 16 feet or higher. The video shows they look to need a little more practice but still pretty fucking wild. Lastly, they areproduced in California. Sorry no embed, someone can help. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sciencealert.com/hoverbikes-are-a-real-thing-now-and-nobody-even-noticed/amp

trying to visualize how they would be practical to use and for what situations for the police. can't come up with much. if you just happened to be in one of the situations you needed one you would have to have it there handy.

Do you need a pilots license? Can you fly them over populated areas? IMO, unless you have autonomy those things will never catch on to the mainstream population.

I mean those are cool and all, but until competent drone style flying legislation can be established in courts and taught for a length of time, Ima just gonna stick to moto paragliding.

Ill just watch and learn while all the other idiot falling out of the sky and crashing into office builds show and teach.

Over/under on when they're all grounded from lack of maintenance?

They'll be fine as long as they don't get sand in the engines.
