It is good to be back in the championship game. In general I think the refs have been fine this season. The replay officials on the other hand have absolutely had a negative Texas bias.

lolwut? They have been dogshit in almost every one of our conference games.

Well..... we looked like dogshit against k-state right before looking badass against the Sooners for 3 qtrs. Hopefully we’ll follow up this shitty performance with an epic performance again.

Two things that I’m sure have been discussed- any injury updates after the game? (Had to leave right after) ex. I’m sure we will be keeping an eye on Jones this week. Forgot who else really got hurt.

Secondly-I’m sure this was said in this thread during the game but, as much as I love the play in the other teams end where beck runs slowly, the linebacker bites and then he ends up wide open. I like it cause he’s been open what 7-9 times this season, but I think Sam and him should practice that for a while this week. It’s always so f%?#^*! close!

It would be better if we actually had the first game of the season where we played for 4 quarters.

I know we will only play 3 well, but a man can wish.

If we're only going to play 3 good ones, I wish one of them would be the 4th.  This current shit has to be unhealthy for us olds.  Get all the crappy play out of the way earlier, then dominate for the last 15 minutes.

Is there no one in the booth watching replays? If so, why the hell didn't Tom challenge the recovery on the onside kick? Had 3 times out at the time.

I'd like to know that as well. One of our qc coaches should be able to make the call on that I would think.

We were screwed once the call on the field was made.  There was no indisputable video evidence to overturn it.  I’m glad they didn’t waste our time with a review.

I completely disagree. Beck clearly recovered the ball.

Exactly, the ball was clearly visible between the KU players knees when Beck gained possession of the ball.

Damn, how do you delete a post instead of just edit?

Let's change the rules so our games don't have fourth quarters.

maybe we should just raise our hands with 3 fingers and chant "3rd quarter" instead.  that way we know the game isn't over and we still have a full half to play.
