This will be the last year of having the game at Jerry World, at least for a couple of years. TTech goes to Waco next year and then BU to Lubbock after that. If that game in Lubbock is the weekend of Thanksgiving I'd imagine it has less than great attendance.

Because Baylor and Tech got too big for their britches and thought they needed a neutral site game since the other Texas teams had one.

This is correct.

I thought it was because nobody wanted to travel to Lubbock/Waco to see two shitty teams play. This is a neutral site for shitty teams game.

Brewers family played at Texas? No fucking way?

I just learned that Michael Brewer "started his career at Texas", at least according to these fuckwit announcers.

Later they'll marvel at how Tech once had Baker Mayfield and Mahomes on the same roster.

Did we offer?!?

I just checked. We did not offer. Do you think that bothered him? Maybe it’s something that drives him?

This sure feels like one more Baylor TD and this one's over.

Just texted my nephew the same thing. Hate to see Kliff go out with a loss to Baylor. Ya hate to see anyone get fired but losing to Baylor has a history of doing that.

Not looking good for Sex Appeal. At least he has a career as Ryan Gosling's stand in to fall back on.

He's got that sweet knockoff watch too.

I hate to say it, but I think Baylor made a choice in hiring Rhule.  I hope Tech chooses wisely as well.

Really going out on a limb there.

Tech loves to play in dfw. It’s their bread and butter recruiting area.

Hell, I don't doubt that.  I'm sure Baylor does as well.  But a game that draws 27,000 in a building that seats 70,000 +  isn't really padding Jones wallet now.  Even with a corporate sponsor for the game.

True, but again, this is the last one.

This game is making a lot easier for me to not feel bad about Kliff getting fired.

This.

Baylor's "rebuild" is an indictment on Kliff's entire tenure at Tech. That the Bears have out-recruited Tech and are now putting better talent on the field with depth to back them up is really all one needs to know.

Kirby, go find someone that can recruit to Lubbock. That's all that really matters.

If Tech fires Kliff Kingsbury they'd be wise to base their coaching search on finding the next Kliff Kingsbury.

I'm sure every fan of every other Big 12 team would approve of this.
