So where does UNC rank in the pantheon of college football jobs open next year?

I am guessing Florida is far and away #1, but what they of coach are we talking about for UNC? Like retread or cheap coordinator or are they still at the point that they will garner real interest?

Given UNC's brand, recruiting geography, and how shitty the ACC is, a good coach should be able to regularly win 10+ games there.

Anybody else getting Coach Bro vibes off of the JMU coach?  Kliff Kingsbury starter kit.

Why?  Because he has hair and wears sunglasses?

Here's my issue with Mack and always has been..... he can't in game coach.  Getting his brakes run off, his team gets some momentum by blocking a fumbled punt and scores a TD.  Score is 60 - 38.  What do you do?  Kick the XP to keep at 21 and 3 scores.  What does 20 get you going into the 4th?  Also, if the opponent kicks a FG, you've automatically made it a 4 possession game.  So..... of course he goes 2.  Doesn't get it.  Down by 22, JMU kicks a FG and you're down 25 now and with 14 minutes left, you need 4 possessions.  You've had a HOF run, but time for the check, Mack.

Perusing the stats. UNC 5 turnovers is the biggest eye catcher.

But JMU has 12 penalties for 105 yards.

So the offense and defense have been that bad.

UNC also 1-7 on 3rd down and still has 40.

ACC refs tried very hard to keep Mack and boys in the game..... Sometimes, you're just outclassed....

Scorigami scares you to death.

Wow I had no idea some sick bastards decided to track college scorigami. The old 19th century scoring rules result in some bizarre scores like 2-1.

And the legendary 52-52 tie between San Diego State and BYU in 1991 remains, and probably will forever remain, the highest scoring tie in College Football History.
