The Russian Medical capacity is never….ya know….overloaded.  If you don’t recover the wounded, no problem!

Medical capacity?   Don’t you mean tampon factories?

It’s a pretty good example of “fuck around and find out”.

Speaking of people who are going to fuck around and find out

During the battle of the bulge, the Germans who were caught out of uniform were put against the wall and executed. Sounds like a plan here.

Yep.  The training that I got was that combatants in civilian clothes may be considered spies and summarily executed under the Geneva Conventions.  Not that Russia gives a shit, but most of the rest of the world does.  If Ukraine chooses to go no quarter on them, nobody will give a shit.

I saw that yesterday and immediately thought that they are there to let Putin know that if there's any WMD bullshit, his army in Ukraine would vanish in a matter of weeks.  The 101st is the warning.  I can only imagine what isn't being shown.

Other than the Embassy Guards for the area embassies, I would guess on ships in the Med.  They can't get there by water due to Turkiye shutting down the straights, but they will find a way.  Afghanistan has no sea access, and Marines got there just fine.

You can bet that there would be plenty to clean up.  Ground isn't held until someone with a rifle is holding it.

Yaka blunder! "The Perm gunpowder plant, which produces ammunition for the war in three shifts, exploded. At least three people died. Also, according to unofficial data, 4 people remain under the rubble"

The FAST Marines are the FAFO group when it comes to embassy protection.  They are around.

uh sir, we are awaiting the report from AmnestyInternational before doing anything first.

They, after all, are the experts on what constitutes a war crime.  use an abandonded school to be a military HQ: war crime.

Bomb the living fuck out of every occupied hospital in missile range: silence.

uh, wut?

Look at those happy faces!  Don't they look like highly motivated patriots, given wonderful gifts in recognition of their service?  Not cannon fodder, not them.

Hey guys….remember back when you were alive? Back before you got HIMARSed to pink mist?

Well…it seems like Pepperidge Farms remembers.

OK Marines, hold onto your nuts. You all kind of took over Helmand, but the Brits built the bases.

Fallujah? Yeah, USAF was covering.

If there is a storming of Crimea, cool, but anything would be an Army Op.  Guard the Embassy in your Dress Blues (Best uniform the US has) and let the others do their mission. Don't fuck it up like Desert 1.

thanks for posting. Many of the dying Russians are not bad people themselves but it shows the consequences of allowing an authoritative regime to control your country for decades. You're only there to advance the govt's objectives. Not the other way.

Russia wants to think this is 1942 and its acceptable to lose a soldier as long as it removes 1 bullet from the other side's arsenal. Each mobilization wave will get more and more desperate.
