Let's be fair.   They would have shot at it.   Whether they hit it is an entirely different question.

So, Stormtroopers, Orcs, and the Russian army walk into a bar and start playing darts...

Bit of intrigue here. Do y'all remember last fall the deal about Ukraine getting some Iranian ammunition and the assumption was that it was stuff that had been intercepted on its to Iran's Houthi allies in Yemen?

Well, more has popped up and is of very recent vintage. So the question is has Ukraine found a third-party supplier or is Iran (or someone in Iran) selling to both sides?

The US Navy recently captured an Iranian oil tanker supposedly carrying oil to China....what if it wasn't carrying oil or headed to China?

Don't think so. The US would still be inventorying it if so.

I think 3rd party is selling the ammo. Question is who. Iran sells a lot into the Caucus and into Africa.

I'd assume it'd have to be a non-NATO/non-EU country because of sanctions. Certainly, Georgia would fit that bill but also has a motive.

That kid might want to lay low for a bit.

He was identified and made to apologize to Russia and Putin on TV. He is lucky he was not sent to a Gulag.

Yep, could be Georgia. But they are not really friends with Iran.

I do not keep up with who Iran sells to directly, just don't think it is stuff we captured.

My guess is Africa and getting paid by some hidden funds.

I would think it would be a bit of work to retrofit an oil tanker to carry arms and not be obvious about it. It would be pretty obvious they weren't filling it with oil at dock since they can't exactly stack a bunch of containers on it.

^Absolutely crazy how little discipline the Mobiks have. A lone soldier just wandering around in a war zone by himself far from his position. Neither I nor any of my Marines would be caught dead (no pun intended) anything outside of maaaybe 100 meters from the rest of the squad/platoon/unit, even then that's a stretch.

Well, most everyone here is relatively intelligent, many with actual knowledge and understanding of the military, and most importantly, a real person. None of which is true about Twitter.

Ya know... This is the thing.... The Twitter collapse will be an interesting case study.

Here’s a trash Vice interview with VVP’s children’s commissioner (with flattering lighting!) who has an ICC warrant out for abducting Ukrainian kids and sending them to Russian patriot camps, as well as straight kidnapping a lot of them. It’s unreal that Vice’s editors let this get through, I guess that may be why they’re going bankrupt.

I mean, WTF:

Quote

She herself has fostered a 16-year-old boy, Philip, from Mariupol, the site of one of the longest and bloodiest battles of the war so far. The city was virtually razed to the ground during a sustained bombardment last year, with hundreds of thousands trapped inside. Russian bombs rained down on a maternity hospital. A theatre housing hundreds of civilians, including countless children, was hit by an airstrike. Humanitarian corridors failed to be secured.

“My heart called me to him – he was in the Mariupol group, which we evacuated after the actual active hostilities - they were found in the basements,” Lvova-Belova says. “It was a group of 31 children, mostly teenagers… We talked to them, and you know, my heart skipped a beat and I realised that this was my child.”

She's just fostering him.

They even had to correct the article because they called Crimea “Russia” but in the video it’s still there. “Russian children’s camps from Crimea, which was annexed in 2014, to Siberia.”

They are probably running on even more of a skeleton staff than twitter is, and they are desperately trying to find a buyer and stave off bankruptcy, so at this point it's amazing they had somebody run spell-check on their transcripts/articles.

I'm sure they'll find a buyer though, only it won't be somebody who will be interested in whatever they think their "journalism" is, it'll be somebody who is going to wipe the site clean and either vice.com becomes a porn site or an online gambling site.

Kremlin hit by drones. Putin is pissed. They promise retaliation. I hope this causes them to re-allocate their (diminishing) missile usage.

CNBC reported that ukraine tried to attack the Kremlin with drones last night.

CNN is already reporting that it's a false flag, Ukraine has denied it. And I love the idea that they got drones all the way to the kremlin only miss the target. It's more Russian bullshit.

Seems much less like an assassination attempt than a symbolic gesture.

I love how  BIG* that explosion is....  little tiny drone snuck all the way from Ukraine only to go spectacular  boom 5 feet from its target.  So close yet so far.
