Hence my theme song. On closer investigation, Sullivans march across Ireland, probably committing mayhem, other local Irish commit mayhem back. Drink beer, hum a tune.

Even though it’s ostensibly an American song, it seems like when any Irishman gets drunk, they automatically know how to belt out the entirety of “Mr. Brightside”.

Makes an awesome ring tone too, while bringing back memories of scouting around San Antonio with Czech friends.

And at least it's not The Corrs, flavorless smooth-peanut-butter music that the Irish girls were stuck on back in the Aughts.

Actually the Irish I hung out back then were big Dixie Chicks fans. They couldn't tell Hillbilly from Irish. Which I guess is the point.

Brits and Aussies are not using it to call for Genocide of the Turks.

Serbs use Kosovo Polje to justify all their wars against all their neighbors. Bold is mine.

The mythologization of the battle and writings began shortly after the event, though the legend was not fully formed immediately after the battle but evolved from different originators into various versions. In Serbian folklore, the Kosovo Myth acquired new meanings and importance during the rise of Serbian nationalism in the 19th century as the Serbian state sought to expand, especially towards Kosovo which was still part of the Ottoman Empire. In modern discourse, the battle would come to be seen as integral to Serbian history, tradition and national identity. Vidovdan is celebrated on June 28 and is an important Serbian national and religious holiday as a memorial day for the Battle of Kosovo.[10]

No doubt. I was thinking of it specifically as the recognition of a defeat as a day celebrating the birth of a new national identity.

At the start of December, Ukraine's 13th National Guard Brigade, "Khartia," carried out its first fully robotic operation in the Kharkiv sector, employing an unprecedented number of robotic and unmanned systems. The operation, designed to set conditions for further advancements, utilized ground-based robots (including mining, demining, and kamikaze drones, as well as mobile turrets) and various UAVs (heavy bombers, observation drones, and FPVs).

Some interesting info here, including that we are still providing intel on Russian locations. Continued on the next post

And now, after first combats with our warriors, Russians are trying… to literally burn the faces of North Korean soldiers killed in battle.

This is a demonstration of disrespect, which is currently prevalent in Russia, a disrespect to everything human.

Well yeah, nobody expected the Russians to give two shits about the Norks other than "better them than me".

I'm not surprised they'd burn the faces off of the Norks either, given how little they care for their fellow Russians.

The Irish should be honorary native Americans.   Time after time, when the opportunity to unite and destroy the invader presented itself, they thought a second - and immediately attacked each other’s clan/tribe.

My drill instructors would have whipped my ass for pointing a rifle in their direction repeatedly. Then again, they would not have been walking in front of new recruits with rifles pointed their direction.  It was cringe-worthy how amateurish the instructor and the recruits were.

We knew they were recruiting older - those didn't look like minorities from the outlying regions nor did they look like hardened criminals - wonder how they got roped into it.

Assessment of North Koreans from the Ukrainian UAV unit "Khorne Group"fighting in the Kursk region.

Weakness & courage are their tactics.Their trump card is good physical training.

They don't use drones.

They wear strange but funny hats.

They carry their weapon like they did 70 years ago...

This is actually a consequence of a partial embargo on Russian oil. Since they can still trade with some, they need to transport to those countries. I’m guessing that most legit and safe transport options are not available to them. Or even if those options are there, they reject them for cost reasons
