Resistance fighters take responsibility for setting Russian base in occupied Crimea on fire
The ATESH resistance movement, which operates in occupied Crimea, has claimed responsibility for setting fire to a Russian military base.

Source: ATESH on Telegram

Quote: "The base of the mobilised army of the Russian Federation in the village of Radianske in Ukrainian Crimea is on fire.

Our agents performed as expected.

We have worked on this "project" for a long time and, of course, everything worked out for us.

We will continue to destroy the Russian army from the inside."

Details: In their message, ATESH specified that there were victims in the fire, the list of which they promised to publish.

Background: the media reported that there was a fire in the army barracks in the village of Radianske in the occupied Crimea, where casualties were also reported.

So the US talks about adding the African Union to the G20, and then Morocco starts offering up T-72 parts.  Interesting timing.

Also, laughing that Russia is having to go all the way to South Africa for weapons.

This may have already been discussed, but what's the deal with SA playing footsie with Russia? IIRC, they were also often abstaining from or voting with Russia at the UN.

BRICS maybe?  Old-schoolers in South Africa got a lot of support from the Soviets during the Apartheid years.

And throw in Turkey ramping up their support for Ukraine (probably helped by their longtime ties to the border regions of Russia/Iran).

Reads to me like some SA military acted off the books/chain of command. The SA government found out/tipped off and are now investigating.

Or the government is in CYA mode and finding a scapegoat.
