Well where else would you eject from a fighter jet? Inside the hanger would probably be a bad place

There is always the runway.

(Not a fighter jet, I know, but why let the facts get in the way?)

Speeding tickets for motorists driving at more than 100 mph are up 87% in California because of lighter traffic caused by stay at home order

  Quote

The California Highway Patrol show 2,493 citations were written for driving the excessive speed for the month period that followed the March 19 order
That reflects an 87 per cent increase from the same period the year before when 1,335 tickets were written for the same violation

Loose tiger lassoed on street in Mexican suburb

May 15 (UPI) -- A surprised witness on a street in Mexico captured video of the surreal moment a loose tiger was lassoed by a man wearing a cowboy hat.

Footage filmed from the safely of a passing vehicle in a suburb of Guadalajara, Jalisco, shows the tiger walking loose down a sidewalk while three men chase the large animal.

One of the men, wearing a cowboy hat, manages to lasso the tiger, which then pulls the man out of the video's frame.

Authorities confirmed they received witness reports about the loose tiger and its pursuers, but the big cat and the men were gone from the area by the time they arrived.

Reports indicated the tiger may have escaped from a private residence in the area, but authorities have not identified the animal's owner or any of the men seen in the video.

Judge faces dismissal for masturbating during trials:

Police built a case against the judge after one of Wall's officers testified during a 2003 murder trial. From the witness stand, the officer saw a piece of plastic tubing disappear under Thompson's robe.

During a break, officers took photographs of the pump under the desk.

Investigators later collected carpet samples, Thompson's robes and the chair from behind the bench, and found semen, according to court records.

Thompson was a former state legislator and a judge with more than 20 years on the bench in Creek County in eastern Oklahoma.

Thompson's court reporter, Lisa Foster, told authorities that she saw him use the pump at least 10 times during trials.

She said the first time in court was in 2000, but she did not tell authorities. "I didn't want to be found dead in a ditch somewhere," she said.

A man who tracked his girlfriend’s phone to the Arlington Police Department was arrested on a DWI charge after showing up intoxicated at the jail, where she was being held on the same charge, police said Friday.

At about 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Arlington police pulled over Jalissa Hallcy in the 4900 block of South Cooper Street because she was driving with no headlights, said Jesse Minton, an Arlington Police Department public information officer. The Arlington woman was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

About an hour later, Hallcy’s boyfriend, Richard Phillips, used Find My iPhone to track her location and ended up in the jail parking lot next to patrol vehicles, police said.

An officer made contact about 3:45 a.m. with Phillips, who was walking toward the back door of the police station, Minton said. When the officer spoke to Phillips, he could smell an alcoholic odor and noticed Phillips’ speech was slurred.

Phillips, who is a resident of Grand Prairie, told the officer he was looking for his girlfriend.

Both Phillips and Hallcy have been released. Their bond was set at $750 each.

LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — A Polk County man arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography is also accused of another dirty hobby.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, investigators learned Jose Araza, 58, purchased and ate soiled underwear.

“[Araza] was buying these things and ingesting them, did you hear me?” Judd said. “He was munching on them. This guy has a problem.”

Judd revealed the stomach-churning allegations during a press conference for “Operation Guardians of Innocence V,” which led to the arrest of 16 other men now facing a total of more than 1,400 felony charges.

“There’s a market out there,” said Judd. “You know what kinds of things get into soiled underwear, right?”

“Sometimes you think you’re passing gas and you’re not. You can’t trust a fart when you’re over 60. But this guy will buy it.”

Judd says Araza was fired as an IT specialist for Lockheed Martin. The 58-year-old holds a masters degree from Florida International University, Judd added.

“People who look at and lust after child pornography are dangerous people and they may be living next door to you.”
