Authorities in northwestern Cambodia have scolded a man for his lawn decorations -- old land mines and other abandoned ordnance still containing live explosives, an official said Friday.

About 30 unexploded munitions were hung from a tamarind tree and scattered around the man’s yard, said Khen Srieng, an official from the Cambodian Mines Action Center, the government agency that oversees mine clearance.

Khen Srieng, who went to the man’s home on Wednesday to collect the munitions for destruction, said they were left over from three decades of civil war that ended in the 1990s and that most of the mines were still active and dangerous.

He said the man used to be a junk collector and had gathered the devices from rice fields and forests near his home to sell as scrap. The man, whose name was not released, told Khen Srieng that after the government banned the sale and purchase of land mines and other unexploded ordnance, he didn’t know what to do with them.

Clearly a poster in the gun owner thread, or should be.

Carlisle County man arrested three times in four days

CARLISLE COUNTY, KY. (WSIL) -- A Bardwell man lands himself back in jail for the third time in less than a week.

On Sunday afternoon, Carlisle deputies arrested 32-year-old Devin Roberts for drinking and being in possession of alcohol, which violated terms of his bond from previous arrests.

Deputies discovered the violations when pulling over a vehicle and arresting the driver for being under the influence and Roberts was the passenger.

On Saturday News 3 reported that Roberts had been arrested for trying to start a fight with a male grocery store worker and had been making obscene remarks toward female employees.

Sheriff William Gilbert then found the 32-year-old at his home passed out in the front seat of a running vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He already had a suspended license from previous DUIs.

Roberts also left his 3-year-old son at home with another adult who was also inebriated.

At that time, he was out on bond for felony theft after stealing equipment from the City of Bardwell.

On Tuesday, Roberts called the sheriff's office and had a deputy come to his home. He told the deputy that he had taken a waterproof case that was sitting next to a dumpster.

He then told law enforcement when he opened the case and inside were items labeled as property of the city.

However, deputies later found out that the case had been taken from a city building and contained emergency lights, hydraulic pumps, and other items that were valued at more than $5,000.

Roberts faces multiple charges stemming from these incidents.

The man, 28, man was charged Tuesday in 4th District Court with voyeurism, a class A misdemeanor, and witness tampering, a third-degree felony.

On July 6, the man went to the Orem Police Department to say he believed his former girlfriend was engaging in prostitution and then “showed the officer video footage that he had recorded from her bedroom showing the victim in her underwear with another man,” charging documents state.

That’s when the officer asked if the woman knew there was a camera in her room.

The man claimed she did know, but when the officer spoke to the woman, she said the ex-boyfriend had sent her an email “and told her to tell police that she knew about the camera and to not ‘say anything stupid,’” the charges state.

The woman said she was not aware that a camera had been placed in the bedroom and that she was being recorded.

A prosthetic mask, counterfeit driver's licenses, and personal information obtained on the internet. That's how federal authorities say a Michigan man allegedly managed to steal more than $100,000 from casino patrons in Michigan and Kansas.

John Colletti even went as far as disguising himself as an elderly man to evade suspicion, federal prosecutors say.

She decided to slam her coffee into my head and that’s when I decided to get up and beat up her boyfriend,” Roy said.

“I got a few licks in and I have brothers at home and as soon as the gentleman or the gentler man said stop, I did, I backed off."

Woman calls out husband over ‘shocking’ life decision: ‘I told him my honest feelings’

A woman is stirring controversy after calling out her husband’s supposedly “shocking” life decision.

The 24-year-old, writing under the username throwra_l8tr asked for help in Reddit’s r/relationship_adviceforum. In her post, she shared the extremely unique reason she’s been fighting with her spouse.

The problem? Her husband, who’s 25, has apparently set up an “entire Taco Bell dining booth” in his home office. Many Reddit users found the issue pretty frivolous, but for throwra_l8tr, it’s a serious problem.

“I’m still just absolutely stunned and shocked that anyone, much less my husband, would think it’s a good idea,” she wrote.

The woman explained that her husband has “always had a soft spot” for Taco Bell, a restaurant she strongly dislikes. Recently, he had the chance to express his obsession at home — after a nearby franchise changed its decor.

“I come home and there’s a bunch of 90s Taco Bell memorabilia in the garage. Apparently one of the local restaurants was getting a remodel and I guess he bribed the manager to let him grab a booth and some other things,” the woman wrote.

The Redditor said she wasn’t upset about the financial decision, as her husband used his own money. However, she did feel upset that he didn’t ask her beforehand.

Above all, she seemingly just disliked the decorations, which transformed a room of their house into a “fast food franchise.”

“I told him my honest feelings. I thought it was ugly and tacky and glorified a less than mediocre fast food chain,” she wrote. Not to mention it goes against the entire motif of the rest of our living spaces.”

‘You are overreacting’

The wife wrote that her husband was very upset by her response, but she held her ground. Now, she’s second-guessing the whole situation.

“I feel like I have a point because it’s our house and I live here too, but he claims it’s his money and he can do what he wants with it,” she wrote. “Am I crazy or do I have a right to be upset at our house turning into a fast-food franchise?”

Reddit users had plenty to say about the issue. Many criticized the woman for not being “supportive” and stifling her husband’s happiness.

“Maybe you need to consider that you are overreacting,” one user wrote. “It’s clear that you have spent plenty of time thinking about how this makes YOU feel, but maybe you should take some time to think about how your reaction is making your husband feel.”

“Seriously, I feel bad for anyone whose SO doesn’t support their hobbies or even the little things that make them happy,” another added.

‘It’s such an innocent thing’

Others simply claimed that since the husband’s office is his space, he should be free to decorate it.

If it were in your shared spaces, if it leaks out into the rest of the house, then I’d agree with you 100%,” one commenter wrote. “But this is his den, his man-cave. Let him have this. It’s such an innocent thing. This is absolutely not a battle to pick.”

“It’s in HIS OFFICE, right? Is this REALLY a battle you want to fight? Think about it, friend. Marriage is for life & you have a lot of life (& battles) ahead of you. You should probably let this one go,” another added.

That man desperately needs his ass kicked.  What a moron.  I would expect that blind adherence to ignorance from aggy.

I bumped into one of those a couple weeks ago. You have to handle the mentally ill with care.
