CBS News affiliate WCCO just found this little dude at teacher wages protest during 1970 in Minneapolis hiding in their archives. Spoiler: he will not grow much taller than this.

A friend gave me this cool Beatles poster he picked up a while back. He's a Stones guy, so...

Anyway, I don't remember seeing this shot. Looks like its from a Help! location. Anybody recognize it?

I'm not a big metal guy, beyond maybe Judas Priest . . . isn't Mustaine a better musician than Hetfield?  I know there was other shit going on, but it seems like they might have dumped the wrong guy.

OK, they should have dumped Lars, regardless.

Say what you want about Musataine, Hetfield, and Metallica in general. But I feel like they did ok with the lineup they landed on.

Yeah, Mustaine was a total drunken mess but kinda straightened out after he got the ax from Metallica. I like the way it turned out. I prefer Megadeth all day, but Metallica did just fine and brought some great stuff in the earlier days.

I guess I need to listen to some Megadeth.  Metallica just makes me laugh.  They are the definition of "meatheads".

That documentary they did making whatever album that was a while back seemed to support that theory.

Was that the one where they were being mentored by a psychiatrist/psychologist?  That one was painful.  They were also the most sterile rock recording sessions I could imagine.  Everything fixed to the grid along the way . . .
