Isn’t this like a month and a half old news. He was asked what’s the weirdest thing he puts ketchup on in a press conference a while back and it went through the news cycle pretty hard.

Expand

The news? Yes. Him actually doing ads for Hunt's now? No. Was just released yesterday.

You would think a real ketchup fan would promote Heinz?

Expand

Heinz had an offer of 'Ketchup for Life' if Mahomes threw for 57 TDs this season.

Mayo is a gift from heaven. I don’t get people who don’t like mayo. It’s the necessary glue for a sandwich

Especially a turkey sandwich the day after thanksgiving.  Mayo is essential.

And the super-stoner fries we had in Amsterdam almost 30 years ago that were served with mayo and fried onions were finominle.

The Dutch mayo they eat with fries is something that I will roll with while in Amsterdam after popping into a Feebo. Their fry mayo is different than Hellmann’s and the mayo we have here.

Whatever it is is delicious.  And the giant wall of fried vending goodness, yes, the Febo, is remarkable.  For some reason, I had an insatiable appetite and ate just about everything they had.

Hash browns are good, why does anyone need to cover up the taste?

Though not quite as weird as the people who have to get something in the flavor of something completely different.  I saw 'coffee' flavored ice cream in HEB yesterday.  WTH?  There's a zillion outlets selling coffee, why would anyone get coffee flavored ice cream instead of just getting actual coffee?  You need it cold, put some ice in it.

So many suckers for the pied pipers.

Also, extensive research using Wikipedia suggests the Hunts that own the Chiefs did not make their money from Hunt's Ketchup.  Which may explain why they are not the Kansas City Chefs (very often.)

Image result for baillie burmaster

The first public mention was by this young lady, when she was new to the TV scene in West Texas, Baillie Burmaster.  She's an OSU grad shown here with her ex, B. Mayfield.  She was interviewing Mahomes and found about about it or some such.  Not a bad little piece:

He Loves Ketchup on Steak
