Good choice. He has the frame to add good weight and the foot movement to be a star.  I expect to see him on the field in 2021.  I think he’s going to be a beast but needs 3 years with Yancy and 3 years with Herb to become a tactician.   Now we just need Bru and another DT

We are letting dads put on jerseys now? Smh

If my kid goes on OVs, this trend will continue.... I can't believe people care or have issue with it. Lots of kids put on jerseys and wind up going to rival schools... harmless Dads doing it seems like a moment of fun for the family.  I know my kid will be laughing at me loudly (although probably wouldn't be heard over the cackle of my wife.... )

Electrician.

Great pickup. Sure, he won’t contribute until 2020, but he’s got the chance to go the Sami Cosmi route—redshirt, put on good weight and improve technique, and compete for a starting role as a RS freshman.

I think 2020 is the optimistic side of his development curve. Unless he enters the program already in the 280ish range, he's going to need a lot of time in the weight room before he can (or at least, should) sniff a two-deep.

He is a good physical prospect, though.

Jerseys are one thing but there was a dad with his son on a visit to UF decked out in a full game day uniform with gloves and wristbands. Shit is lame as it gets son.

Edit: Welcome aboard Hookfin!

Why on earth this was ever a tough decision between Texas and Baylor I will never know.

Kids are going to kid sometimes. Maturity comes at different times, for a lot of them , is my guess.  Heck my 10 and 11 year olds are more mature than my freshman.

Because as much as we preach committing to schools, and not coaches, we all know that's not the way it is.  Players and coaches develop relationships.  He might have really clicked with the Baylor staff initially.

Problem is, there are at Baylor....
