Per a 2016 ESPN article:

"It seems that some officials have been interpreting the crown of the helmet to mean the tip-top portion of the helmet only," NCAA Football Secretary-Rules Editor Rogers Redding said in a release. "We want everyone to understand that the crown of the helmet starts from the area above the facemask to the dome of the helmet."

Which picture? His head is up and he didn’t launch himself into the other player. Watch it in real time - their helmets just happened to hit. Terrible call.

When watching replay it it looked to be more cause by them both contacting the ground.

Beyond that, the player started with his face forward. Upon seeing he was headed toward the qb, he lowered his head. It's not rocket science.

Rogers Redding needs to write that into the rule if he wants it to be interpreted that way

Why do they always show aerial shots of the Dallas skyline for a game 20 miles away in Jerryworld?

So let me get this straight:

Pre-game party events in Sundance Square Fort Worth, Texas. 15 miles away.

Pre-game shots of the Dallas skyline. 20 miles away.

Is Arlington really that bad?
