I noticed right before the Idiot In Chief said “airports” he said “the air...ramparts”.

Was the thought process as follows?

“I’m talking about that old ass war...that America song has “ramparts” in it...I’ll throw that in on the fly to sound smart and historical...wait...are ramparts a real thing?...or is it some made up music word?...oh fuck they’re gonna call me dumb again.... and they have a red glare...what if they’re some commie crap and they make it all about Russia?...quick! think of something that sounds like ramparts and throw it in real quick and I’ll say I was saying that and the ramparts thing is fake news...AIRPORT...yep say that...they had to wind up planes back then so they had to have airports...damn I’m so good at this...who needs speechwriters and fact checking?...those are for pussies!”

But that’s just a guess.

No--that's what's going on.  He had no idea that "ramparts" is a real word.  And we know from previous experience that he doesn't know the words to the Star-Spangled Banner.

So when he was confronted with a word on his TelePrompTer that he didn't recognize, he did what any person with a 2nd-grade intellect would do--he substituted in a word that he knew.

It's really not that hard to understand.  As someone who has a second-grader living in his house, I see it all the time.

Well, there are Ramp Agents, maybe not Ramp Arts at airports.  And surely those positions were quite prevalent in 1776.  In fact, one of the first great job creators by Boeing.

Haha, my God, the stupidity.  That would be like Obama saying, "I didn't mean to say 47 states, I really thought there were 57 states in the moment."

That's perfect. Lying about something so stupid.

Imagine someone with some humanity and vulnerability like Buttigieg answering a question on that. Yes, I misread the teleprompter. It was a silly mistake. I was honored to be able to speak to the American people on July 4th.

It was like listening to a 2 year-old get too excited to tell a story that slowly spirals into gibberish... "There were airports. And ram parts. And McHenry. And Mayor McCheese..." ...leaving you feeling like Harold Ramis listening to John Candy explain why he joined the army. "...yeah...uh huh...really? ...oh wow!..."

And then we all broke our fast at George “the Continental” Washington’s where upon Martha served us a classic breakfast named after her husband. The soldiers rejoiced and proclaimed they would name the army after George.

Holy shit evangelicals are some dumb-ass snowflakes.  This article lays out pretty much what we've all suspected, but damn...

Why evangelicals love Trump

Postcards from Crazy Town:

  Quote

The rallygoers (Orlando), he said, told him that Trump’s era “is spiritually driven.” When I asked whether he meant by this that Trump’s supporters believe God’s hand is on Trump, this moment and at the election—that Donald Trump is God’s man, in effect—he told me, “Yes—a number of people said they believe there is no other way to explain his victories. Starting with the election and continuing with the conclusion of the Mueller report. Many said God has chosen him and is protecting him.”

Apparently these folks don't understand confirmation bias.  He's protected because he's filled the courts and his cabinets with a bunch of fanatical sycophants, with the help of the spineless House and Senate GOP.  It's not that hard to figure out.

The fact that they think God, would choose someone like Trump is mind blowing.  Yep, Moses, Jesus, Trump...3 peas in a pod.  Hard to tell them apart, really.

I went inside the Trump Passenger Lounge this morning at Yorktown International Airport for my flight back to 1789.  All they were serving was the Continental Breakfast named after George Washington, of course.

To all you evangelicals, baptist, et. al. nutjobs who think that God is with Trump and laying a protective path before him, think about this tonight...

If your God be with Trump, imagine the power of the God that is against Trump.  If your benevolent and loving God chose this moral wasteland as his servant on Earth, and if anybody who defeats Trump must be evil and not chosen by your God, imagine what that God's plans for you are.  If you truly believe your guy is hand-picked by the Judeo-Christian God and your guy is beat...you really aren't gonna like what happens next.

And I can only assume that the Continental Army's battling at all the airports were what brought about the demise of Trump Airlines?

Nevermind, he's President.  Somebody who used to OWN an airline thinks airport battles took place in 1775/76.  Would be like Doug Parker or Gary Kelly declaring airport battles being critical to the Union Army success in the Civil War.  I know he's your President and he can do no wrong, but would you get on a plane that was part of an airline run by a guy who thinks airports have been a think for 244 years?  No, you'd get off, ask for your money back, and try to torch the gate.

No kidding. Not a huge Trump fan, but fuck off, Russia State TV. You're a lap dog for a murderer. Call us when we start murdering political opponents in the middle of the campaign. Go suck some more potato juice and get a sewage system.

The funny thing about the Russian attack in 2016 is the people that took it seriously and learned their tactics/methods were mostly democrats and independents while the Trumpkins screamed “nothingburger!” and ignored it every day.

Something tells me the republicans are in for a rude awakening in 2020.

Trump is blaming the teleprompter now? So for eight years the Republican party berated Barack Obama for not being able to speak without a teleprompter and is now subservient to a man who, by his own admission, isn't able to speak without a teleprompter?

Sorry can’t prove it yet but I suspect these airplane battles of 1775 are somehow the work of Space Force bending time.

Want to have dinner with me?

Sean, Roma,

Three years ago, I stood on the stage at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio and promised to be a president who fights for ALL Americans.

The FAKE NEWS media laughed at us and told us we had NO CHANCE to win, but you stood by me and we proved them wrong.

To celebrate all of our unprecedented success, I’m headed back to where our historic journey began...

I’m hosting a dinner in Cleveland, Ohio to commemorate the historic 2016 convention, and I’ve reserved a spot for one very special guest - YOU.

You and a guest of your choice have the chance to join me in Cleveland for an unforgettable experience.

  Quote

I can’t wait to have dinner with you soon, Sean.

Please contribute ANY AMOUNT immediately to win dinner with me. >>

See you soon!

Thank you,
Donald J. Trump
President of the United States

How do you know there weren't planes back in 1775?  Were you there?  Or are you just accepting the "facts" in those lying, liberal textbooks?

In a similar fashion as when they exalt God when someone recovers from cancer after a vigorous prayer campaign, but don't say shit when the next cancer patient dies after the same effort. God works in mysterious ways....

And sometimes takes days off.
