Remember just a couple days ago when all the Republicans were furious about abandoning the Kurds? What ever happened to that?

we will be past that, and past the administration admitting to asking a foreign government to interfere in our elections to benefit Trump, in a matter of weeks - and he will be back to having support of 100% of Republican elected officials and voters - to the extent he doesn't already have that now.

OK, lawdogs, what is to stop CNN or whoever from counter-suing the attorneys who file these frivolous lawsuits and at least getting lawyers fees from them, and at best getting them disbarred for filing obviously frivolous lawsuits?

except, you know, the literal sense.

Here's the deal:  Trump is a moron.  He quite likely doesn't know any better.  Hell, he probably doesn't actually know what a "lynching" is, he just knows we did it to the darkies a bunch and that's good enough for him.

Lindsey Graham is different.  He's not an idiot.  He was born into a blue-collar family that ran a billiards club and liquor store.  He was the first person in his family to attend college, and even though he attended USC (East cocks not West cocks), he managed to obtain a law degree and then serve as a JAG attorney in the Air Force for many years.  He knows what a lynching is.  For pity's sake, he's a white attorney from South Carolina.  Fuck Lindsey Graham.  (Fuck Donald Trump while we're at it, but that was assumed.)

GOP:  President DOTARD meant "lynching" to mean like going to Lynchburg and giving a speech at Liberty University.  Why are all you liberals so easily triggered?

You’re right! He probably didn’t write the tweet.

Man, this is the most depressing thread on the internets.  I mean like lost faith in humanity/dark sadness/burden of futility depressing.

If everyone can't do anything greater, they should at least go rescue a dog and maybe the world will turn one degree towards righting itself.

The number of people that were in the administration then and are still in it now has to be pretty small at this point. Outing themselves through longevity.

There's no indication the person is still part of the admin.  The article says that outright.

Asked if the author remained part of the Trump administration, Latimer declined to comment further, and a spokesperson for the publisher did not respond to a request for comment.

If I ever win the lottery I plan to end my legal career by sending a letter like this to some asshole.

a buddy of mine used to work for barry josephson when he had a production deal at fox, and i used to meet up there for lunch.  when barry was out, we went and checked out the wall in his office with various framed photos and letters.  one of them was a hand-written letter from don simpson concerning a dispute they were having over michael bay, who barry wanted for men in black while he was running sony.  the letter said:

dear barry,

michael bay will not be directing men in black.  he is way too busy finishing up bad boys.  this movie will be a hit if i have to personally burn your fucking house down.

kisses,

simpson

i have always said that as soon as i can write a letter like that, i can leave hollywood forever.

I already have a dog.

And a ledge.

And scotch.

And some venison steaks I'm gonna cook to medium rare tonight.

And Game 1 on the TV.

And an excellent view for the end of the Republic.

I'm good.

Well, anonymous warnings are no longer helpful.

You got something to say, step up and say it there, Pierre Delecto.

I might have missed the posts about Romney and "Pierre Delecto", but holy smokes, that has to be the greatest pseudonym ever.

I'm not a lanai kinda guy.  Patio, plaza, those are the places where my people prefer to watch the hacienda.

But, I mean, if there are snacks.....I'm listening....

It's so fucking obviously Kellyanne.

That would be my guess. Betting sites last year put up odds. From a WA PO article:

"Mike Pence was number 1 in a lot of them. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos ran a close second at MyBookie.ag, with +200 odds (a $100 wager would profit $200). Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Chief of Staff John F. Kelly and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin all had +400 odds.

Bovada, another online sportsbook, listed its own odds Thursday: Attorney General Jeff Sessions was the front-runner at +250, with Pence right behind at +300 and Kelly and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis at +400."

Pierre Delecto was definitely Ron Mexico's coke dealer.

who was it that trump mentioned discussing it, where the other person apparently told trump "i didn't know you could be so nice to someone" or some garbage like that?  was it graham?

i am positive when he starts name-dropping, that the other person has no idea what he's talking about.

This POS doesn't even pay taxes yet has the gaul to hold up tax-funded aid to Ukraine for his personal extortion plan. Surely the Tea Party should be enraged by this right?

Snacks?  The lanai is where la milfa retreat once they get overheated and need a cool beverage to come to their senses.  Timing is everything, hermano.

If it's Kellyane, that's answers the question of how she and George can still be married. No way that marriage survives otherwise. We've had couples on different sides before, but never to this level.

Again, it’s gonna be a Ledge Sausage Party if you don’t diversify your refreshments and party favors.

Need some White Claw, Valium, and season three of “The Crown” for us gals.

My guess... Rueben Spicier aka Reince Priebus.

Any chance Anonymous is Bolton?

He joined the administration March 22, 2018.

The OpEd was published on September 5, 2018.

He “resigned” on September 10, 2019.

The book is to be released November 19, 2019.
