Is this a joke?

How about changing the official GOP party platform to remove language calling for Russia to leave Crimea?

Inviting Russian spies into the Oval office with only Russian "journalists" present?

How about giving them classified info on Israel while in said meeting?

Or refusing to implement sanctions that were voted for by Congress and signed by the President?...aka himself!

Or having the Treasury department lift sanctions on 3 of his Russian buddies?

Or warning Putin about airstrikes so they and their cohorts can get out of the way before you bomb a military site...which by the way, was barely damaged?

Or having private meetings with Putin without notes being taken?

Or believing what Putin tells you as opposed to your own intelligence organization?

And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

The most disingenuous argument coming from the right is “How has Russia directly benefited?”

It neglects the biggest prizes Russia is getting out of Trump which is destroying our alliances, our leadership, and our public’s faith in our democratic institutions.

Those rewards are more priceless to Putin than any lifting of sanctions.

Can someone please explain to me why we would want North Korea’s economy to be a “powerhouse”?

The royal "we" don't want it.  But our President sees potential in development.

If you look at every decision he makes in regards to any foreign country through the lens of potential real estate development, then it makes sense.  He dislikes developed countries, for those markets are tapped out.

It's a beautiful Sunday morning here in San Antonio. And I'm still shocked that Republicans would vote for such a deeply-unpopular, corrupt, immoral, incompetent failed-businessman to be the face of their party.
For people like me, who's voted Republican 80% of the time, this is a lesson that I'll never forget.

Incorrect. You live in a dystopian hell and those rays of sunshine are emanating from donald trump.

I would generally agree with this, the execration being when one is on the shitter next to an Indian. Why so explosive?

You feel inefficient next to them, don’t you?  You want to sit there and have the luxury to take one of those 5-minute American shits.

Hillary would have been a great president.
Bernie and Trump stood in her way, and for that they shall pay a heavy price.
Vengeance.

I don’t know about great, but competent for sure.

Judging by the enemies she made, she would have been okay, not great.  Congress would be a bigger sewer of human garbage and who knows how far she would have gotten with the judicial nominees.

However, we wouldn’t be the laughing stock of the world or fluffing brutal dictators.

I fucked that column heading up. It was supposed to represent the approval/disapproval difference. Just wasn't thinking.

In the future, students in school will have a new era to study in U.S. History.

Reconstruction

The Great Depression

The Cold War

Trump ruins everything.

When it seems impossible to understand how Trump could be any stupider on an issue, keep in mind two key motivators.

First, he refuses to ever show what he considers weakness of any kind in any scenario. He will never ever admit he’s wrong on any issue ever. He believes that unconditionally. In his mind, to admit he’s wrong is to show weakness, and to show weakness invites an erosion of his power.

Second, he is fully aligned with Sloppy Steve’s Nationalist agenda, not because he really believes in it, but because he believes it gives him the best possibility of being admired by a big part of the population. Of course, in reality he looks like a complete buffoon to at least 50% of this country, and it’s shocking that it isn’t 100%.

That’s not particularly novel. What makes it so dangerous is that he combines it with total ignorance. He knows absolute nothing about anything, and has zero desire to educate himself on any matter. Books? Borrrinnggg. Intelligence briefings? More pictures, less words. How the US government works? Hardly important for a President.

When you refuse to be wrong about anything while simultaneously refusing any attempt to understand what is right, well, you come across like a fucking retard who Johnny Sack thinks is great.
