Lol, not that anything is shocking anymore, but the President of the United States was just intellectually pwned by a teenager.

Don’t overestimate him. He was befuddled by an umbrella. Something my toddler can operate.

Maladjusted?

Compared to “normal” teenagers glued to their phones and doing stupid shit on TikTok?

She’s a teenage girl with Aspergers trying to change the world by walking the walk instead of Tweeting nonsense.

And she should be furious. I’m furious and I’ll probably die before the earth truly starts to deteriorate.

I’d be bursting with uncontainable pride if she were my kid.

One of the only things that give me hope is knowing my daughters/Greta’s generation will be in power when I’m old and vulnerable.

They’re angry. They’re organized. They mean business and they’re gonna get shit done.

Maladjusted????? Okay boomer.

Edit - FML. I thought she was like 10 or 11 years old. Had a whole thing written up about how 11 year olds shouldn't be that concerned about things like that. Then I decided to check how old she was just in case. Oops.

I retract my statement. At 16, it's not nearly as creepy. She still cray though.

That’s because the criminals like the Kush and the morons like The Hammer have all migrated to the Republican Party in such a manner that they now control it and we get guys like trump representing the party as a result. Anyone with either half a brain or half a sense of decency would have left the party long ago.

Just another play in the Republican Party fascist playbook mirrored after Putin and the Nazis. That’s who they are. Time to stop allowing it.

I voted for McCain and Romney.  Can't see myself voting R again, ever.

My last R vote was for Bush in 2000.  I spent the 90's listening to the R choruses of "balanced budget amendment" and "campaign finance reform."

Fool me once, I guess.

Same. I will also never vote for anyone in the future that is part of this current gop. If you haven’t disavowed by now, you’re as guilty as the rest

I'll vote for them to be hanged if I'm on a jury, so that's a vote they can count on.

I'm older than you, and I voted for Reagan.  (2nd term, wasn't old enough for the first vote.)  I think I was impressed by his survival of the bullet.

These guys who criticized every step Obama took and hated that a black man became President. Called themselves holy Christians. They just love this guy who literally is everything they are not or think they’re not. Or maybe they are like him and have been like him the whole time.

None of these fuckers gives a rat’s ass about following Jesus’s example.  They want to belong solely for the purpose of condemning outsiders.

What are your feelings on the kid who was out selling Pelosi socialist lemonade? He cray too.

Being so fanatical about politics, as a teenage child, that it consumes your entire id, is absolutely not healthy or normal. Much like the Pelosi lemonade kid, there's absolutely no way that he developed that fanaticism in the course of normal pre-teen/teen life. He's got a set of agenda-driven parents who pushed him that direction. Both his parents and Greta Thunberg's should be ashamed of themselves. They're no better than the overbearing little league dad who still thinks he would have made pro baseball if his coach wasn't biased, and rides the hell out of his poor kids who don't even want to be there.

And it's made even worse by the fact that a 15 year old autistic child was injected into the world of politics, which is unbelievably hateful and unhealthy.

You'll never convince me that it's natural or healthy for a child to be that obsessed and emotional about something wildly out of their control and age-normal sphere of influence. If that pisses you off, you go on with your bad self. And you're good in my book as well. But I'm not wrong.

She'll likely end up here making posts equivocating Trump and Hitler at some point.

It would be fucking hilarious if they successfully argue that a president, who is not convicted in an impeachment trial, should get a 3rd term, due to the distraction, which allows Bill Clinton to run again and win. Limbaugh's head would explode.

I'm not sure that I could write fan-fiction that would be as cathartic as that happening.

She's in a Twitter war with the president of the United States.

If you believe that she's non-partisan, then please allow me to introduce you to a bunch of Gary Johnson voters we have on this board. They'd love to talk to you about how intellectual they are, and tell you about both sides.

Of her own doing?  Getting in a beef when someone steps out and publicly criticizes you for no reason doesn't make you political, it makes you human.  She may or may not be political, but this latest altercation certainly doesn't prove it.

I wonder how the Congressional Ball is going this evening?

All the R folks at the Judiciary meeting will have the sadz if they don’t have time to get spiffed up and shake Trump’s hand before he heads off to bed. Jim Jordan won’t change since he doesn’t wear suits apparently.

The thing is, the Republican leaders are acting like Trump won’t even get a second term - they are looting everything they can before they head out the door.

That’s fine. The Dem candidate gets 2 hours of taking questions and attacking Trump’s record and positions.

On the one hand, Trump does not want to have to defend a lot of the shit he’s done - and unless it’s on Fox News, he won’t have control of the questions.  On the other hand, Trump would not want to give up the free publicity/public spectacle.   It would drive him nuts the moment he was labeled a coward, particularly if it’s Warren he would be facing.   It would not be a good look for him if he is scared of a woman.

Maybe the ones who are uncertain of their 2020 outcomes, but McConnell told Hannity today that the Senate would be taking its cues from the WH lawyers. (Paraphrased but yes, you read that correctly). That doesn’t sound like politicians who are planning on leaving power ever.

Screw the record and positions.  If he's not there, just talk shit about Trump not being a billionaire or a real man for 2 hours.  Just go through his Twitter and list out all of his lies and hypocrisy.  "In 2014, Trump tweeted this.  In 2019, he did just the opposite."

And do it for this reason.  If he was at home watching his manhood being attacked for 2 hours, he wouldn't skip the second debate.

Oh he'll show up. His narissistic personality disorder will not allow him to sit it out. Narcissists cannot handle not being the center of attention, especially so in Dotard's case if it winds up being Warren.
