On this date, December 18, 2019, Donald J. Trump was only the third U.S. president to ever be impeached. This decision will forever remain a stain on his legacy and be an infamous moment in our country’s history. Amen.

He’ll have the distinction of being impeached and re-elected to a 2nd term, which is crazy.

Disagree. History largely doesn't give a shit about Clinton's impeachment. Trump's place in the history books is going to reflect very poorly on him, but impeachment will only get a small mention. These aren't even his worst known crimes right now even.

We’ve been given the Chinese curse of “living in interesting times.”

Not if we let it. Every mention of him from this moment forward should include the dishonorific title of “Impeached President.”

In the history books, it isn't a far stretch to think that the word traitor will be used. Pawn is probably more accurate though.  Either is worse than impeached president imo.  The whole section on Trump will be a subsection of the larger Russian infiltration of the US and UK elections.

Keep in mind also that we know he is decimating our regulatory agencies. We know he is funneling tax money into his private businesses.  We know he is taking money from foreign interests in exchange for favors.  We don't know the full extent of any of those yet. But we will when he is out of office.

Sadly true. The worst is yet to come.

Biden-Trump debates incoming.

They are going to be great.

One of them will literally expire before election day.

Which of course will finally deal a fatal blow to those with the perspective that our two party political system has totally failed us.

why is this such an issue for this guy?  the whole anonymous op-ed last year was after his freak-out over mccain’s passing and him not wanting flags lowered or any honor shown.

You really have to ask?  Everything is an issue for him, and if it isn't today, it will be tomorrow.

Happy Impeachment Day Surly Liberal Cabal!

And to us educated, non-mouth-breathing moderates! Today is a great day for this country. Today, the people of the United States of America have officially taken a stand against the corrupt, immoral, incompetent, failed-businessman piece-of-shit in the Oval Office.

Even his idiot supporters, some of whom probably voted for dingell, even those people recognized what a scumbag trump was acting like. If I ever meet that guy I will spit right in his face. Hopefully I will have a cold that day too.

Shade

What does shade mean?

Disrespect

Shade is a popular slang term that means disrespect. The term commonly appears as "throwing shade", which is similar to saying "disrespecting" or "dissing."

The term is used to describe when a person disrespects another person, which is also known as "talking trash" about a person. It often occurs in a public forum to get the most reaction out of a sweet dis.

Example

"She's got so much shade stuck inside of her she needs to let it out before she blows."

For people searching for an authoritarian leader, he has a knack for using words such as ‘us’ and ‘we’ to draw them in and when to use ‘you,’ when he wants them to feel emotion (i.e. hate towards Pelosi et al). “You should feel angry that...”  A lot of what he says is gibberish and rants, but it is inclusive to them.

He is an awful man, and he says and does awful things, but for his cult, they will follow him to the end.
