Just ridiculous that Herbie is allowed to call Ohio St games.

Agreed. Alumni shouldn't be allowed to call games for their own schools or their school's rivals. It's a conflict of interest.

Ruh-Roh, PAC is "taking shots" from detractors (as it should) for sluggish athletic performance in the last 365 days/ last few years with regards to PACN:

The old adage "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger", couldn't be more inaccurate about this conference; tables have turned, XII is stronger than PAC...

As said before, (possibility) XII has a chance to take the best brands from the PAC, thus fortifying Oklahoma & Texas as kings within current footprint...
One possibility: Baylor dropped from XII/ West Virginia joins ACC/ SEC adds Oklahoma State & TCU, locking in DFW metro/ B1G adds Kansas & Missouri...

Your weird insistence on formatting your posts to be as visually annoying as possible aside, the Big 12 has always been a stronger football conference than the Pac-12 on a long term basis. That's never been the issue.
