AFC Wild Card Round: Chargers at Ravens

Shitshow of a game. I’m not sure why you have a QB like LJ and suddenly expect him to be a pocket passer.

Additionally, running it up the gut 1,000 times was useless, and representative of an empty, thoughtless playbook.

Mornhinweg is basically east coast Linehan.

Zebras were also dogshit both ways but that’s no surprise...

The Ravens were a gimmick the 2nd half of the season and once the book was out on how to stop it, they're toast.  What they were doing was absolutely not sustainable and it will be interesting to see what they do next year.

Consider that if you extrapolate Lamar had 119 carries in the final 7 weeks of the season over a full season, that's 272 carries.  The only guy in the league to have more than 272 carries for the season was Zeke - there's no way Baltimore can do that next season.

Lamar might be a worse passer than Tebow.

Fair enough, but that had nothing to do with today. The “book” on how to stop it certainly wasn’t available the last 8 weeks, so props to SD (and yes they’re still SD) for making the proper adjustments.

That said, this game was more about deplorable offensive play calling and sloppy turnovers than anything SD did with their scheme.

Still bottles the mind that Adrian Phillips -- who would bounce off OU players like a pinball -- is not only still playing in the NFL, but was one of the stars of the Chargers win (1 int and 1 fumble recovery).  But thrilled for him at the same time.

He was first-team All-Pro this year as a special teamer, too.
