I don't see how the FG is a bad decision. The Saints offense hasn't impressed a lot this game, and the Rams' defense is stopping them. They probably get the ball back.
Because all they need is a FG. You aren't keeping that offense down all game. You have one yard to take a 4 point lead. But you settle for a FG?

If you are so confident the Rams stop them on defense, then why not go for it and if you miss it, they are 99 yards away.

Break up the pass there instead of going for the INT and you stop the clock before the two minute warning. Potentially get the ball back tied with 1:50-ish and 2 TO. Instead you’re pretty much 99% to lose at this point. Complete dumbass play the the FS.
