One of our DL Mike Williams quit the team. Might want another DL take in the class

Was wondering if the Whitner OV had anything to do with this, but apparently Mike Williams took off with little notice.

I just put in a pick for Peyton Powell to Baylolr

He may just do that, I'm not sure.  His dad played at Baylor.  That said,  he's probably visited TT maybe 5 times, twice after his UT commitment.

I'm still not thoroughly convinced that the QB as important to him as many here suggest.  One, I've heard him say that and two, BU has a really good QB already committed.  He was Ga.'s first pick (and Kliff's too for that matter).  At TT he's got 3 years to sit behind Bowman.  There's also Duffey and McIvor.

So could be BU, who knows?  Not entirely sure what what this means, if anything.  From TT commit and high school teammate Landon Peterson. "You know the move".

Great, I’m sure we’ll be right on that.

Lets hope tomorrow is better than today. Today sucked.

One silent commit, one decommit, one player skipping town. May we all live interesting lives.

He was holding a spot at his best school option for a non-quarterback position until he got recruited hard enough by a school at the position he covets and perceives gives him the best chance.

The Powell recruitment during the last few weeks reminded me of the recruitment of Kai Locksley.... a talented athlete wanting to play QB but probably better suited to play another position

He’ll end up playing where he would have here, or as RG IV. Or maybe PP1.

With Washington a flip risk, Powell and Houston gone, and Bru unlikely, we flat out need numbers at outside WR.

I'm fine with taking Lewis.

Our state is stock piled with elite WR’s and we are struggling to make numbers in our class. Winning, Merhinger.

said it elsewhere, but this class has been one step forward, two steps backward since the start of December.

Well, numbers-wise it's going to start walking forward again one way or another next week.

All we need next is for you to start freaking out about possible transfers (see Duvernay and Nelson last year) and we are right on track this cycle. Progress.

Can we please look at Stephen Parker

Parker probably headed to TCU or Kansas....

(WR Coach at KU was  at Tech before and one of his recruiters)

I think he's leaning Kansas right now. I can't remember if Mike Williams was eventually gonna be a DE or DT. I believe Parker projects to DE. But shit's fluid and all that.

Mehringer and Giles can go fuck themselves.

Mehringer is not exactly starting with a lot of goodwill like let’s say Drayton is. If he does not deliver in this class I do not know how he stays on the staff.

On a happier note, more of Roschon making that 1st grade class' day in Port Neches (Also good lord, Mrs. Sartin's got extremely good genes based on her two daughters in her prof pic)
